    LG 50PC1D Picture Problem...

Afternoon and Happy new Year to one and All.

Looking for some help troubleshooting a LG50PC1D Plasma (DOM 2007)

Collected TV, usual power board failure, replaced 13, yes 13 duff caps on the power board alone, I have one more to replace but waiting on it arriving as thought i had ordered, anyway...

TV now powers up with sound, picture is very 'Speckled' like static but coloured speckles, using a DVD as a source, can see a picture but really dull and speckled. (Could this be the CAP on PSU that i still have to change causeing this? 680uF 50V)

In the past dealing with Samsung plasmas I would do some adjusting on the Y-Main to rectify this as much as possible, tried it with this set and nothing to any great effect happened.

Anyone any ideas where next to start. TIA

(Va checks out correct and so does Vs - From PSU side of things.)

(( Will upload pics soon as possible - unless i'm told to Junk the thing!! ))

    Stephen

Pictures of the fault would be helpful. However, this sounds like a bad Z-SUS board to me.

AOC AGON AG273QCG refresh problem picture shifts
      by doorzon
      Hi all,

hopefully someone on this board has an idea on how to begin with troubleshooting this problem.

The monitor AOC AGON AG273QCG (curved 27" QHD monitor) has problems refreshing every 1 to 2 seconds or so. A line appears in the middle of the screen and the lower half of the screen is shifted to the right.

      See attached picture.

I am leaning towards an issue with bad soldering of the graphics chip, because the problem used to go away after some time (minutes) but now it is here to stay.
However, this could also be related...

T-con suspect issue. Both ribbon cables no picture. One ribbon cable ok. (58pus8545)

Hi guys! I realized you have a lot of knowledge here so i am hoping you could point me in right direction with my odd issue.

The Tv is a Philips 58PUS8545/12, it had no picture but working backlights.

      Original T-con:
Opened the Tv and tested to unplug one ribbon cable at a time. With this test i could see that i got fine picture on both halves as long as there was only one ribbon cable connected, with two connected picture were gone.

      First replacement T-con:

I thought it might be t-con and ordered new t-con from china(supposedly tested)...

Hello gurus, hope you can assist me...

I have a Sony KDL.40P3600, with an issue on the left side of the screen (pictures attached).

I think the problem is the panel, but before send it to trash, i would like to get a second opinion.

      Thanks in advance.

Samsung UN55MU8000 - Backlight But No Picture Problem
      by KYBOSH
      Hello all

I pick this up free as a repair project for the holidays.
The original symptom was power cycling after 3-4 seconds with a single red light flash.

To remedy this I went through and unplugged each component 1x1 and discovered that when the FFC cables were disconnected the backlights stayed on and the TV did not reboot.

I tried remove one or the other to see which side of the display was causing the issue (expecting to see half a picture to show) but didn't see anything. But the boot loop only appears when the top FFC cable (right side...
