Insignia nslcd32-09 TV needed pressing on button multiple times, now doesn't work

Have an Insignia nslcd32-09 Digital TV that would turn on after pressing the on button 4 or 5 times. Once in while, it wouldn't turn on, but tried again a few minutes later and would turn on after pushing the on button a few times. Occasionally it would turn on with a couple pushes. By 'turn on' I mean the on light came on and the TV worked perfectly.

But it seemed to need more and more pushes as time went on. Now, it won't turn on at all, no matter how many pushes on the TV on button.

I've looked inside the box, the capacitors, switch, and connections look fine. The capacitors are not bulged, no leakage, burn or popping sounds.

Was curious if anyone has had this problem or knows what 'needing to press the on button multiple times' would indicate. It seems to me it might be capacitors, but like I said they seem fine. I also checked continuity from the switch to main board and all was fine. Any ideas? Thanks..
