Need photos of the insides of your panel, these 32" seem to suffer from a bad short in the LED strip but with out photos one is very limited on helping you troubleshoot.

Post them and then someone will jump in and help you out!

Well, so you see the video, so did you do as the video has shown to find out if the power supply is OK or not to at least narrow down as to which board is the problem?
Did you look inside to see if the boards are exact the same? There are more than one versions of the boards inside that TV for the same model number as you can see here:
        http://www.shopjimmy.com/catalogsear...q=un32eh4003f+
And since we do not have the TV and the boards in front of us, good clear pictures are required.

I just picked up this exact tv... It was given to me, with this same problem.

Here is what i have learned so far.

With a flashlight, display is working. Essentially there is no backlight.

I dont see anything wrong with the capacitors, and I have no clue where I can check for voltage.

          Looking for direction...

Do you see the two white connectors on the power supply/LED driver board?
There are charts that show what each pins are, we need each pin name and the DCV reading of each pin when TV is off and when TV is turned on.

Do you have any input as to what to measure? From what pin, to what pin, etc?

              Would more detailed pictures help?

Look at the charts as printed on the board, black probe on the chassis and red probe on each pin one at time. Make sure to give us pin names also beside the voltage reading.
Take the reading of all the pins.
                Do you see the charts?
BTW, I will not be surprise if it has bad Bacxklights LED, very common failure in TV using LED Backlights.

Ok, here is what I have so far...

Large connector - I can only get to one side with the board in. Sadly the BLU-ON is not one I cant reach....

                      1 - 15.28v - B13v
                      3 - 15.39v - B13v
                      5 - 15.50v - Vamp
                      7 - 15.59v - Vamp
                      9 - 0 - GND
                      11 - 5.46v - B5v
                      13 - 5.47v - B5v

                      Small connector

                      1 - 211v - D+
                      2 - 189v - S-
                      3 - 0v - N/C
                      4 - 191v - S+
                      5 - 0v - D-

If you have suggestions on how to measure that pin 6, I am open to them. I will keep looking at it - but I hope this might put us on the right track...

                      Thanks!

                        2 - 16.14v - PWM_DIM
                        4 - 16.14v - B13V

                        10 - 0V - GND
                        12 - 6.65v - A5v

So from what I can see, the BLU is getting the ON signal... I am guessing its likely a failed power suppy, or failed backlight.

Do my readings give me any indication which it is?

                            "Small connector

                            1 - 211v - D+
                            2 - 189v - S-
                            3 - 0v - N/C
                            4 - 191v - S+
                            5 - 0v - D-"

That looks like the LED driver circuit is not seeing any load (open connection or LED failed in open circuit).
I say you have bad LED open connections in the LCD string. Looking at the bottom side of the board, it looks like it is just one string of LED (all LEDs inside are connected in series like Christmas lights).

Found the LED strips! and I am into them as well.

So based on what you are saying, i should buy new LED strings. Its interesting, as they are 2 strips; a pair of wires for each.

I guess worst case, I need the LED's and the power supply both?

                                Looking at this - does the power flow go D+ -> LED1 -> S- -> S+ -> LED2 -> D-

Its the only explanation I can come up with, that would, that provides how both strips are out - unless the PS is dead.

You can test each LED to see which one is bad using 3V battery and 100 Ohms resistor.
Can we see the pictures of the LED assembly?
Can you see if any one of them has dark brown like it was running hot?

                                    This is the replacement strip

                                    http://www.shopjimmy.com/samsung-cy-...s-2-strips.htm

From what I can see, there is no dark brown. The one post above talks like the are prone to shorting out?

I need to rip it apart more to get to the back side of the LED strips. But from what I can see here, they are not burnt.

If we are 75% sure its the LED strips, I can just get new ones coming.

That is very good price. So the connectors are seated well?
If the LED shorted out then the LED string should still light up and may go into shutdown if it sense too much current since one LED is shorted out.
BtW, can I see how the two strips are connected together, there are 4 wires on the power supply board, and the LED strip has one connector on each end of the board, so only one of the connector is used on each strip?
                                      I would test each LED.

I tried to illustrate it above - but I will see if I can explain better.

                                        D+
S- these go to one strip

                                        D-
S+ these go to the second strip

My theory is, the D+ and D- are the outside end of the 'strip' complete, While the S+ and S- are essentially a loop to connect the strips in series.

Thus making the voltage flow out of D+ through the top LED strip, back in S-, then out S+ through the other LED strip, and back in D- to the final power supply connection.

                                        Does that make sense?
