    hisense led lcd tv -50k360g

I got this tv and trying to figure it out. I am shocked about led lcd. I did not except it to have just a couple boards. I do not have sound but just looks like back light.

I looked on the power connector and it appears i have all the correct voltages marked. I am not 100 percent sure but think so. It is hard to keep meter leads on it.

Since this is my first led tv ..where do i go next. I have not found a manual at all. Here are some pics

if i need to take more pics let me know.

LED LCD is just like normal LCD, but uses LEDs instead of fluroscent tubes. Less power required, so less parts needed (although some manufacturers go too far with the cost reduction)

    This board:

T-con board. Check fuse marked K. Test DC volts on either end to chassis ground, should be 12V both ends.

Are you saying that board is the issue? I have no on screen display or anything.

I have 12 volts on both sides. I did order a motherboard but would love to make sure that is what is needed. As I am stumped with no schematics. Thank you so far tom66

My thought is bad T-con or LCD panel. Main board may be OK. Not sure yet, but it is a rare fault to get backlight no image with a main board fault.

Have you tried checking voltage regulators on the T-con and main board?

I have ordered a t con board also. I got both for 100 bucks. So i thought that was a deal. I will let you know which one fixes it. I did try to get voltages off some of the chips. Yes I had input voltages and then some output. But I do not know what the voltages should be there with no schematic.

I would pay for a video on breaking down different tv's and showing how to troubleshoot and some of the voltages to look for that are common in all tv's.

I did get the t con board today and tv comes up and sound and everything but the image is horrible. It has horizontal lines all the way on the screen. I never seen this type of issue yet. I have included a close up of the screen.

Also i am blown away I thought being an LED tv it would be clearer of an image. Even for a cheap brand line hisense.

Bad card ? or is there something else going on ? I was using HDMI from dvd player and it said 1080p but man it did not look like it.

well I got the new motherboard in and it does the same thing. I guess it is a bad panel ? I checked the cables to the lcd board and they are fine. I assume something where those cables plugin have the issue now.

I am close to scraping this one out ..

What do you all think ?

Re: hisense led lcd tv -50k360g

LED TVs have images roughly comparable to LCD TVs. The image will not be sharper, or have better contrast. It may have slightly improved brightness and colour, but even that is a stretch.

It could be a bad T-con or panel. Who makes the panel in this set?

I do not see any markings on the panel I found a couple stickers. I can not find any other writing . I just looked some of those numbers up and it says hisense

Can I Swap Screens Between Two Hisense 75” QLED TVs?
                        by ShahZaib Ghumman
                        Hey folks,

I'm not a professional, but I do have a decent amount of knowledge when it comes to electronic repairs.

A friend of mine recently bought a brand new Hisense 75” 4K QLED Smart TV (75E7NQTUK) but unfortunately, he cracked the screen just a few days later. Luckily, he had insurance and got a replacement right away but weirdly enough, the insurance company never asked for the broken unit back.

So, I took it off his hands and figured I'd try to repair it myself rather than see it go to waste. I've been searching for a replacement screen but can't...

                        Hello,

I accidentally changed the project ID in the service menu of my Vidaa Hisense 100U7KQ TV. When I turn on the TV, the screen displays an RGB color cycle (test mode???). I contacted Hisense, and they sent me a usb_MTK_9618.EU.bin file, but it doesn't work. I can see that the USB drive is being read, and it flashes for about 10 minutes (the screen remains in the color cycle during the firmware reading), then the TV turns off and restarts, but still in the color cycle mode.

I want to mention that the 4GB USB is formatted in FAT32 MBR. I've also renamed the file to...

                        HISENSE 65H6510G (13 AUGUST 2020)

When powered on, initial splash screen (HISENSE ANDROID TV) displays for a few seconds then power shuts off. Tried updating firmware with USB flash drive (can't find 4GB drive but did format larger drive in FAT32) with no luck. Flash drive would be accessed but would never get to the update process. I have ordered a board (RSAG7.820.7911/ROH, PART# 242585) from eBay which will arrive in a few days. Does anyone have any input of whether I am chasing down the right trail or should I be trying something else? I appreciate your time and wish to say thank...

Reader PocketBook InkPad 3 – identification of a black component marked 'CT' on the microUSB line
                        by Maniackk
                        Hello,

                        Device: PocketBook InkPad 3
                        Mainboard: XRZ_E091_PB740-VTTOA-V1.1 / 2017-10-12

I'm replacing the broken microUSB connector on this e-reader, and during inspection after desoldering, I noticed a loose black SMD component marked "CT". One of them was torn off along with the pad, while the other one (marked in the photo) is still in place.

I would appreciate help identifying this component.

Measuring the loose component with a multimeter gives 5.84 MΩ in both directions, while the one still on the board shows no measurable...
