by jaco2dHi i recently purchased a Hisense u7hqtuk TV, there is 2 different version of this set, the UK, Europe one and the America one, i have the UK and Europe version.
I have searched for calibration for the TV but i can only find it for the America one which has 1000 nits, the version i have has got 600 nits so the calibration settings will not work.
Has anyone got this TV and managed to get good picture setting for it or can anyone find a link to the calibration settings?
The picture is good enough but if possible i would like to get the best possible picture settings for the... -
I have an ATTEN ST 8800 D. I tried it out and I have a problem with this machine. When I get the machine at 500°C at 50% airspeed. My motherboards (I tried on several) barely heat up to 180°C. I know how to calibrate the machine, but it can't be a calibration of 300°. Anyone has the same problem with this machine. I know buying cheap is buying expensive but a 300° difference is a rip off.02-28-2025, 05:17 AM

by groybeHi,
Have a storm damaged TV that had a short on the power to IC207 a tiny surface mount near the emmc that still remains after I removed the IC207.
So I got a new mainboard from aliexpress and it all works but I'm wondering if there's a way to transfer calibration data from the old board to the new one or if that's even necessary?
I presume there is some sort of calibration done at the factory??
There are 2 winbond flash ics w25q40cl, w25q80dv and another eeprom 24c512cl.
I tried swapping those to the new board but the TV wouldn't... -
by SCCronauer25I am trying to fix my Dynex tv. The PSB is new and so is the Control Board, but when I turn it on, I get "please wait..." on screen, then it quickly goes black. I have the back of it off and checking voltages shows 5v standby and 2.5v supply comes on going away/into PSB/Control Board, 24v is present on PSB (getting .4v on most, if not all, backlight lines, 5v to backlight is there also), the control board's heatsink staying hot to the touch, plus the 2.5v going away/into the PSB/Control Board, gives me the impression it is on. What else should I check for?

by CrystaleyesSo the oscilloscope needs calibrating, which needs a function generator...
The function generator also needs calibrating, and the manual is not in the clearest English.
First line in the calibration section of the manual is, "1. Push function switch to OFF position, load 50 ohms".
Is this '50 ohms' a dummy load, or is that the impedance of the cable which connects to a scope for example?
The generator is a Minipa MFG-4201 which is also known as an Escort EGC-3230 and a Kenwood FG-273
