Hi i recently purchased a Hisense u7hqtuk TV, there is 2 different version of this set, the UK, Europe one and the America one, i have the UK and Europe version.
I have searched for calibration for the TV but i can only find it for the America one which has 1000 nits, the version i have has got 600 nits so the calibration settings will not work.
Has anyone got this TV and managed to get good picture setting for it or can anyone find a link to the calibration settings?
The picture is good enough but if possible i would like to get the best possible picture settings for the...

Hi thanks for reply.....i turned the backlight setting right down but the lines stayed the same, they actually stood our more, I thought its maybe a heat issue as the lines only appear when the tv has been on for a few hours, i tried turning it off for 30 mins and turned it back on the lines had gone but appeared again after the tv had been on for a bit....

I will have to look into that as i didnt have a clue about it. It came with a year guarantee from Sharp which i thought was a bit poor....

Hi sorry i should of metioned, its a Lcd, i was using a display test app to try and show the lines better, they are still there on normal broadcast and streaming...

This is only my seond post and so far i am very impressed with the forums.
I have a Sharp 50bj2ke which is 6 month out of gaurantee and has devoloped horizontal lines, i have tried to research as much as possible but i am no further is diagnosing the issue. When i turn the tv on it works good with only a thin line right at the top of the screen which i could live with but after a couple hours of use the lines start to appear in the middle of the screen and now the bottom.
The small white box thing in the pics is not the tv its a reflection from the window

Any suggestions...

Hi im new to the forum and this is my first post....i know this is a old thread but noticed recet replys, i have simular problem with a Sharp 50 inch tv which i am trying to repair, my issue is slightly different as when i tur the tv on its fine for about 2 hours then the lines appear. What do you mean when you said use a shim over the bad tab bond?
