I replaced two 3300uF 10V caps with Panasonic FR's (and tested the rest) on this Philips TV with Samsung internals about six months ago, it was used for couple of days to test it, and then it was forgotten in storage untill this week.
Three days ago I brought it back to use from the storage room. First day it worked perfectly.
After the second day of use this problem appeared.
The plasma screen will start flashing like this as soon as you plug the TV in. When turned on it works perfectly and the image is perfect. After turning off it will continue flashing.
The video explains best: https://www.dropbox.com/s/re5nqtw1al...4_Pro.mp4?dl=0
At 0:24 I turned the TV on, and at 0:52 I turned it off. The flickering when the TV is turned on is just from the camera.
As you can see the sound comes on few seconds before the picture
Has anyone seen anything like this before? What could cause something like this?
I find it strange that this starts immediately after plugging it in... I haven't had the time to open it up yet, but when I do I will post pics of the boards.
