    Philips 32PFL5332D/37 Issues

Client has an issue with their Philips LCD, they have power and backlight.
' I have to turn it off and on a couple times to get the picture to connect. you can see the back light when its turned on without picture.'

They unplug and re-plug a few times and eventually get a picture.

T-Con board? or Main Board? I assume it's not an inverter issue.

    Thanks,
    Dan C

    Re: Philips 32PFL5332D/37 Issues

Have an associate that suspects a PS issue, Philips power supplies use rather robust caps, that powering off and repowering may push enough storage capacity to fireup the T-Con and main board to display an image?
    Anyone concur?

T-con suspect issue. Both ribbon cables no picture. One ribbon cable ok. (58pus8545)
      by Tr0ll
Hi guys! I realized you have a lot of knowledge here so i am hoping you could point me in right direction with my odd issue.

The Tv is a Philips 58PUS8545/12, it had no picture but working backlights.

      Original T-con:
Opened the Tv and tested to unplug one ribbon cable at a time. With this test i could see that i got fine picture on both halves as long as there was only one ribbon cable connected, with two connected picture were gone.

      First replacement T-con:

I thought it might be t-con and ordered new t-con from china(supposedly tested)...

Issue with picture quality of Sony bravia TV
      by CyberPhoenix
Hello, Last week I bought the 50" Sony X80j tv everything was working fine, untill I plugged the tv in a ups power supply 650va the tv remote control became unresponsive and the TV became laggy after a while the picture quality isn't the same as before the tv seems less brighter and the picture is somehow blurry, people's faces don't look as natural as before, there is a mini orange-pink tint to the edge of people's faces especially in NETFLIX Dolby Vision like in One Piece ep1 Alvida skin tone, my intention was to protect the tv but something went wrong I checked the ups with a multimeter,...

      Philips 37pfl560: Yellow picture
      by madyoyo
      HI.

I have a weird problem with an old Philips 37pfl560 TV i put out of storage: the picture have a noticeable yellow hue, and its not caused by the settings (did a factory reset). I've never seen this before. I will try to get a photo with a real camera, with my phone its hard to see because of automatic white balance, but in real live the whites are really yellow.

Anyone have an idea of what can cause this? Can CCFL tubes get "warmer" with time? This tv have several analog inputs,so its nice for retrogaming....

Philips 55PUS6804/12 turn on & off (probably backlight issue)
      by ovrax
      Hello everyone,

First of all, please excuse me as I'm quite new to this field.

I have a Philips 55PUS6804/12 TV. It turns on and off instantly (backlight flash). I personally think it's a backlight issue (faulty LEDs). Could you help me confirm my diagnosis?

I've checked and the T-CON seems to be fine. I disconnected one ribbon cable at a time at the bottom, but the problem persists.
The Ambilight works perfectly and stays on.

      No sounds.

      Thanks in advance.
