Sceptre X405BV-FHD3 Powers on, logo appears, then shuts off

Hello all, I am seeking troubleshooting assistance regarding my Sceptre 40" TV. The complete model number is X405BV-FHD3HIL12. Power input: 100-240VAC, 60/50Hz, 3.0A(Max.).
The TV powers up, displays the Sceptre logo, and then goes black. I am assuming this issue may possibly be the common "two seconds to black", however I am not very electronically inclined and wasn't sure how to make heads from tails regarding the Troubleshoot Guide made specifically for this issue as I don't know which parts are what (transistors, diodes, inverters). I do have a multimeter, and am confident with guidance and instruction on how to test what needs to be tested that it can be fixed
I did check the capacitors, visually all look well - no bloating or leaking. I am attaching the pictures of the boards individually and hooked up to the TV, If I need to re-take any please let me know.

Thank you so much in advance for your time

**Edited to add front picture of a board , I thought I originally attached but didnt. My apologies.**

I will check that out, I know most TV's (from reading) when you start tearing into them have completely different parts used in them from different brands, so maybe I was off on just searching solely Sceptre 40' problems. I was going to test the board, just not sure where to start as far as pin placement and which ones to check.

You have 2-second to black, so it can be power supply, the inverter circuit, bad lamps, lost of BL_ON signal.
Can I see good clear pictures of the power supply board connectors so I can see the labels (your pictures are not in focused for me to see clearly), also good clear pictures of the inverter board (the one with 3 high voltage transformers).

Do you need the pictures of the boards actually connected to the TV, or more clear pictures of the boards themselves? Sorry, I am trying to learn all of this as I go

No, Just the boards by itself, I need to see what the labels for those pins on the connectors are so I can tell you which pins to check the voltages.

My apologies, budm. I didn't realize they were that badly out of focus, I hope these are more sufficient, I took them outside to try to get a better visual. I appreciate your taking the time to help me and for your patience. I am very grateful.

OK, you do have Digital meter, right?
You need to take the DC Voltage readings (TV is turned ON) on all the pins (except GROUND) CON2F and CN3 and report the readings in the following format: Notes: Black probe of the meter on the metal chassis.
                CON2F:
                PIN1 +12V =
                PIN2 +12V =
PIN3 and 4 are GROUND, not need to test
                PIN 5 +5V =
                ......

                ......

                  PIN 5: 10.1

I hope I did these correctly budm, as I said I am trying to learn my way, I figured out (as I had no clue where PS/ON was) that there was a little diagram stating what pins were what with what voltage, and from there I figured out which direction to label my pins according to that diagram going by their 1 to 10. Thank you again, for your patience and help. If I did something incorrectly, please let me know as I will redo until I get it right. Thank you

                    OK, that looks OK.
So now we need to test the inverter transformers high voltage winding resistance.
Set the meter to 2K scale and test the resistance between pin 1 and 2, pin 3 and 4.
Do the same on the other two transformers also.
                    Transformer #1:
                    1 & 2 = xxxx Ohms
                    3 & 4 = xxxx Ohms

When your tv goes black, does sound remain, or is it shutting off? I had a 46" Sceptre that was shutting off after showing the logo and it turned out to be the T-Con that was the issue.

Thank you, john. There is no sound, however when I am doing this it isn't hooked up to cable or anything at the moment (not that it would be an issue at all to hook up and check). From testing last night with it plugged up, when it powers on you can see the blacklights light up quickly, then go out, and the front blue LED remains on. I am attempting to find Service Manuals or datasheets (no luck) and try to keep reading over How To Guides and figure some of it out on my own as I hate to feel bothersome with so many excellent guides available to us, my issue was reading over some I have no clue what a diode is, or MOSFETS, T-Con etc . I am just learning little by little but am so appreciative of all the help.

Should I hook my cable up and see if sound is present?
                            Thank you again

Try unplugging the cable to the t-con and power the set on to see if the backlights stay on. There'd obviously be no picture, but it's an easy check.

Is there anyway you can circle the T-Con on one of my pictures? Or is it the same thing as the main power board (the green one)?

T-CON is under the metal shield center top of the chassis.

T-CON is under the metal shield center top of the chassis.
Thank you again budm, and john. Sorry for my lack of knowledge, am grateful I am learning though.

I disconnected the cable, tried to turn the TV on and nothing. No Sceptre logo or backlights glowing through the holes of the chassis. The blue LED light is on on the front of the TV, but no backlights.

Any other ideas? I am more than willing to do more troubleshooting steps to get it up and running.

I think bud was right with his initial diagnosis. Ccfl inside the panel or bad inverter.
