Hisense hls106t69pz? 42" dead, help please!

So, got a Hisense hls106t69pz, which died on me recently. It used to have a problem where on hot days, the screen would go green and purple, so I left the case off and replaced the capacitors, which seemed to have fixed it, but I guess not!

Anyways, before it gave up for good this time, the screen went green/purple and blocky. Now when you try and turn it on you get the flashing light like it's trying to boot up, then the speaker emits some white noise. Also there is a buzzing noise coming from the power supply when trying to turn it on.

Tested all the power outputs to check they had appropriate voltage and it appeared so, but I was using an old analogue multimeter so don't know how accurate that was! PLEAAAAASE help me out on where to go to next, I'm using a tiny monitor for my viewing now and I think it's messing my eyes up haha.

    Anyways, thankyou in advance!

Can you post pictures of your problem and of the back side of the tv with the back cover taken off? Also individual pictures of the boards and part numbers are welcome. An analog multimeter might not get the job done this time, you should pick up a digital one.

        Hisense TV 40A5600F Dead - Wan't start
        by sandrabrnelic
When powered on LED goes red indicating standby.
After pressing the power button LED blinks 6 or 7 times, i don't know do i need to count last led blinking because it's faster then previous 6 and remain's lit and in standby again. Nothing is visible on the screen, backlight is off all the time. All caps on board are looking visualy OK. 12V is present. Anyone has service manual or schematic for this TV or any ideas what could 6 blinks code mean.

Main board is RSAG7.820.9867, power supply is on same board.

Update: I think backlight is dead because voltage on backlight...

How can I be sure that my EC chip is dead?
        by double_DD
        Hi all,

As the title suggests, how can I be sure that my EC chip is really dead?

I've recently gotten into this hobby of laptop repairs, and have successfully brought back to life a couple with some easy fixes, mostly shorted caps.

Now I'm working on HP Probook 455 G8, that had some "devil" run around on 3V line, burning a bunch of stuff. Luckily I have a dead 455G7 (for spare parts) so I managed to fix it (swapped burned parts) to a point that it will charge (both on barrel jack and usb-c), but it doesn't want to turn on. There is a 3V3 on a keyboard...

Can I Swap Screens Between Two Hisense 75” QLED TVs?
        by ShahZaib Ghumman
        Hey folks,

I'm not a professional, but I do have a decent amount of knowledge when it comes to electronic repairs.

A friend of mine recently bought a brand new Hisense 75” 4K QLED Smart TV (75E7NQTUK) but unfortunately, he cracked the screen just a few days later. Luckily, he had insurance and got a replacement right away but weirdly enough, the insurance company never asked for the broken unit back.

So, I took it off his hands and figured I'd try to repair it myself rather than see it go to waste. I've been searching for a replacement screen but can't...
