Samsung UE32F5000 problem turning on/off
I fixed the backlight on this TV. After the repair, the picture is excellent, but I have a problem that I can't turn it off with the remote control .All other functions on remote are working. IR LED on remote works when i press on/off button and i see that IR reciever on TV gets it because standby LED flashes fast while i'm holding on/off button. I can turn it on with same button on remote. -
Hisense TV 40A5600F Dead - Wan't start
When powered on LED goes red indicating standby.
After pressing the power button LED blinks 6 or 7 times, i don't know do i need to count last led blinking because it's faster then previous 6 and remain's lit and in standby again. Nothing is visible on the screen, backlight is off all the time. All caps on board are looking visualy OK. 12V is present. Anyone has service manual or schematic for this TV or any ideas what could 6 blinks code mean.
Main board is RSAG7.820.9867, power supply is on same board.

I know that passed a lot of time but i have same TV with similar problem. When i connect power standby led turns on red. It reacts to remote control, and when i press power button standby led goes off but there is no backlight. I see on led that TV continues to react on remote commands. I did find another power supply and tried to change it but problem remains. I need someone to guide me how to check if this is backlight or some other kind of problem. Thank You !Leave a comment:

I have problem with Dell 5520 15" laptop.

When i try to turn it on it spins fan for 3-4 seconds, power led goes on, 3 leds above keyboard (upper right corner) are lit in some sequence and after that fan stops and power led remains on. Screen is black. I tried to connect monitor on VGA port but there is no image. I tried to power it on with battery and charger in a any combination. Result is allways same.
To power it on i have to short... -

Here is .epk file for 37LG6000 that i have used, it's 3.49.0 version of firmware. I'm not sure but i think it's good for all LG6000 series TV's.
And one more thing that i want to mekae clear ... in step 7. you need to click on "transfer" and then choose "send file ..." if you're using Hyperterminal, after that you need to choose zmodem protocol....Last edited by sandrabrnelic; 08-29-2016, 05:15 AM.Leave a comment:

I have updated firmware and now everything works fine. I used notebook with serial cable and hyperterminal to be able to do this because every other method didn't work for me.
Here is procedure that i followed (copied from other forum):
To recover an apparently dead lg set you'll need
* a computer with a serial port
* a null modem cable
* a terminal emulation program with file transfer capability (zmodem protocol)
* a good firmware file (*.epk)
* a little care

you mean hardware problem with eeprom or just problem with eeprom content, main eeprom or sub-MCU eeprom, and where can i find sub-MCU .bin ?!

Update ...
TV is starting itself even when i disconect cable between mainboard and sensor/led/keys boards. I believe problem is located on mainboard that is starting without any buttons pressed/connected, after that backlight starts blinking, signals from inverter are OK, it blinks because DIM signal goes from 0 to 3V and back. INV_CTL and PANEL_ERROR_DET signals are OK.Leave a comment:

I don't think so, i have measured all voltages +24 for backlight is OK, +16 is OK, +12 is OK, +5V is OK, +5Vstandby is OK, +3,3V OK, +1,8V OK, +1,2V OK. When i remove cable between IR sensor board and main board then TV isn't starting by itself. So i think maybe problem is somewhere on IR sensor board but i can't track it because there is no schematic of IR board in service manual that i have found on web.

Hi, i have problem with LG Scarlet TV. When i plug power on, it turns's ON itself without pressing button on remote, red led blinks 3 times, then it goes white, and after that it goes to dim white. Turn on tune is heard throug speakers. Backlight turns on but there is no picture and after that backlight start to turn off/on itself. It's on 2-3 seconds and off 2-3 seconds. TV isn't responding to remote commands. Please help. -

Hi !
I have C870 laptop that is completly dead. PS is OK, but when i press power button absolutely nothing happens (no noise/no lights) Mother board is PLF/PLR/CSF/CSR UMA MB REV 2.1 and the problem is that i can't find schematic. I found it on elvikom.pl forum but i don't have points to be able to download it. Please if anyone has schematic, i would be very happy to see it
