Toshiba 40L2200u screen goes black after one hour

Toshiba 40L2200u works perfect for about an hour then the screen goes black , green light stays on and I get audio.
This must be a common problem , I have seen it before.
I do have a working one that I can borrow parts from ,any ideas?

What do you mean by that?

You need to find out the if the BL_ON command from the main board is still present when the backlights go off. Please read the basic LCD TV-MONITOR troubleshooting guide.
Do you have tools?

I did read your guide , I have a working same model tv. should I switch the tcon or the main board to trouble shoot

If you do have same board, then try one board at a time, I would start with the main board.

I have the same model # tv 40L2200U that it works sometimes ok but sometime got theme you still can see the manu & picture but really theme .. There is something the i can do to fixed

Hi, have you found out what is wrong? I have the same TV with the same problem.
