    le46s86bd resistor value help

hi all I need a lil help got a tv in last night it had been badly repaired
im talking that bad the 150uf 450v caps had both blown also a 20n60c3 mosfet and 2 resistors now the resistors is the problem

the board is meant to have 2x 5w r15k ceraminc type

I don't have any of these I do however have a few 5w 10j ceramic type could I use these please help and I can then test this tv

    Re: le46s86bd resistor value help

    What's BN44 number of PSU?

    R15K = 15 kohm
    10J = 10 ohm

    Pretty large difference....

        I've the 166C - maybe similar enough

What's component designation for resistors in question? (e.g. R12345)

hi tom I don't understand that question please explain

          I used a 5w r12k and a 5w 10j
but my fuses fs801 and fst02 blew would that be down to this

also the mosfet that it had in was a 20n60c3

I changed that for a sd20n60 would that be a problem

          please assist

            Re: le46s86bd resistor value help

On the PCB (the board) there will be a LABEL (Reference Designator / RefDes) like R12345 printed next to the component. It will match up with the schematic. That label is necessary to figure out what the component should be and what it does.

Schematic vs. Reality: Where Are the Resistors on My Sharp Clock Radio? Model FY-70CH
              by TinkerTron
              Hey everyone,

I'm currently working on a mid-70s Sharp Electronic Digital Clock Radio, Model FY-70CH. I found the service manual online, printed it out, and have been studying it for a while. My main reasons for tackling this are: (1) I want to learn electronics and figured I'd start with something I had on hand, and (2) I want to fix its issues. Right now, the radio sounds awful, has about 5V DC at the speaker terminals, and the alarm time setting doesn't work. But I'm not asking how to fix these problems.

Instead, here's what's been bugging me so far:
              The schematic...

What resistor ohm will work better to repair this waterpik?
              by artvandalai
The resistor on this waterpik blew. I changed it with the a similar spec 47ohm 2 watt yageo resistor but it still keeps blowing the resistor. Checking with the multimeter the motor, capacitor, diodes, and thermal fuse all checked normal. Will a higher ohm resistor work better? What ohm resistor will work better to repair this waterpik? This video is showing the repair with a 56 ohm resistor https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_J7_rV7ui1Y

Is it okay to replace 1/2 watt resistor with 1 watt resistor in AC/DC adapter?
              by chth96
I have purchased an 100-240v AC/5v 2a DC adaptor from aliexpress, and a month ago It smelled burning when I plugin it powerstrip.
Since then, This AC/DC adaptor have been out of order.
But A few days ago,I replace 0.5 watt resistor with 1 watt resistor(1ohm) in this adapter.
After replacing resistor,It succeed to recharge all of android phone. And When I measure voltage on the two pins of USB port,It shows 5.5v
Is it okay to replace 1/2 watt resistor with 1 watt resistor in AC/DC adapter?
And Is there any possibility that it will suddenly explode as well as to be out...

Hoover FM216LI cordless vacuum refuses to charge
              by flat-earther
I have a Hoover FM216LI cordless vacuum which isn't charging its internal battery.

I opened up the unit, and it has 6x Samsung ICR18650-22P cells connected in series.
5 cells were at about 3.3-3.1V. one was at 2.4V, so I assumed this cell was bad that's why the vacuum wasn't charging so I replaced it with another 18650, but after that the problem still persists, the vacuum turns on a bit and then cuts out since the batteries are empty.

So I think the over discharged battery wasn't the culprit, it was a symptom of the unit not being able to charge its batteries....

              Xiaomi mi 9T missing resistor
              by badcap111
Hi, while trying to replace a broken screen connector on the motherboard, I knocked off a resistor next to the connector, and the resistor vanished. I have tried to find out the value of the resistor by looking at the schematics, but I cannot find the value. The ID of the resistor, or what you should call it, is R6400.

I don't know if the resistor is necessary for the phone to function, and the connector is still not soldered on to motherboard. I have contacted Xiaomi and asked them if they know the value, but they want a proof of purchase, which I don't have.

              Is...
