Can you check over my troubleshooting?

    Hello,

I was given this TV because the previous owner got it diagnosed and didn't want to pay for the repair. He said they diagnosed 2 boards were bad, but couldn't remember the names of the board.

Panasonic TC-P50C2 with 10 Blink failure code.

I attempted to follow this guide of disconnecting boards to find the source of the 10 Blink code:
    http://www.justanswer.com/tv-repair/...-replaced.html

When disconnecting the SS board from the PowerSupply, the blink code changes to 7. This leads me to believe the SS board has failed.

When testing the Power Supply using a multimeter, I appear to be getting very low voltages. To be honest, this is the first time I have used a multimeter and was hoping someone could take a look at the attached photos and make sure I'm doing this right.

In both photos, I should be reading 15 Volts by touching the leads on the power supply. It even says 15V next to one of the leads I am touching. It instead however appears to read 0.42 Volts... unless I don't understand what I'm doing which is very possible. The TV is plugged into the wall at the time of testing.

This all leads me to believe that both the Power Supply and the SS board are failed and I should attempt replacing them. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Panasonic ZT60 plasma tv with strange behavior and 8 blink code
    by cloo
I recently got my hands on a 60" Panasonic P60ZT60 plasma tv (european model) that has some strange issues along with an 8 blink code.
It know this tv is getting old but it was once considered one of the best plasmas ever made, and i think it is still holds on to that even by todays standards.

So, long story short. When i first got the tv it had a very bright washed out picture with very raised blacks in all picture modes and i couldn't find the cause in the picture setting menus.
After doing a factory reset this problem was gone and the picture was back to...

Un50cu7000 2 blink oddity *partially solved
    by EazyBone
I write this to maybe help another with this TV.

So I aquired this TV a 2023 model. It started the 2 blink reboot problem which indicates bad panel. It was still under warranty and the repair man came by.

The Samsung repairman brought a brand new panel and switched my original boards to the new panel. The new panel then had the 2 blink error code. The repair guy said he has seen this and the MAIN board on this model will cause the 2 blink. He then replaced the main/power board (they are both connected) and put it back onto my original panel. Voila it worked.

Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 (1868) won't turn on
    by yomama07032
I have a Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 (1868) - 13.5 inch. It is the version with the i5, 8 GB of RAM, and 256 GB SSD. I believe the motherboard number is M1098028-008. It has been dead for a year and a half. I tried everything that is suggested on Microsoft's support website. I have the original power supply, and the white light on the power supply's connector turns on and stays on when it is connected to the laptop. Nothing happens when I try to turn on the laptop. The caps lock key's light does not turn on. There is absolutely no sign of life. I have also tried charging the laptop using the USB-C...

panasonic TX-P50V10E 6 blink led problem
    by Vebririon
    Hi everyone,

I'm new here and trying to repair my Panasonic TX-P50V10E plasma TV, which is currently showing the 6 red blink error code.

Just for context: I'm used to building PCs and installing modchips in old consoles, but this is my first time trying to fix a TV. I'm French, and while my English is okay, I'm using ChatGPT to help translate and clarify my messages as much as possible — so please forgive any odd phrasing.

I'm also not very experienced with using a multimeter, but I'm very motivated and ready to follow instructions carefully and report...

Acer Nitro 5 met my ebike charger...

Well I was rushing to finish homework and just plugged my 54.6v 3 amp DC ebike charger into it. So thats just miserable. I just spent 2 days troubleshooting a parasitic drain on my A6 that killed my alternator. This literally happened right after I got that all diagnosed and fixed.

So visually it looks to be localized to the TI BQ24781 charge controller. Pins 2, and 27 look burnt aswell as the top of it got so hot as to melt the plastic it was touching even after I realized what was going on and disconnected...
