Samsung LN32A450C1 backlight comes on no video

Hello.

I was given a Samsung LN32A450C. when I press the power button, the red LED blinks 5 times, and backlight comes on (although possibly faint). The musical start up tone also happens. But no other sound or video. I replaced the main board and power supply with spares, both which I believe (95%) to be good. NO bulged caps on either PS. Is there a known problem with the LCD on these models? Also, would a bad CFL cause this problem?

Check T-con fuse if there is a separated T-con

Ok will do. Also, if the backlight is working properly, should it be very bright or dimly light? I am trying to figure out if the power output to the backlight is correct.

It will be dimly lit if the screen is high contrast type, at this point I would check and see yo do have dc voltage at both ends of the SMD fuse on the T-CON board, use chassis as the Gnd ref point.

I have attached pictures of the T-Con board. I cannot seem to locate a fuse. Am I not seeing it?

FP1 with 'UD' printing on top, next to the round inductor with 100 printed on top.

Thanks. Found it and tested it with my ohm meter and it is open. Should i still test for voltages on each side or just assume the TCON board needs to be replaced?

Test both ends voltages any way just to make sure.
