OK, then you need to take DC Voltage readings on each pin of connector CN802, and CNI802 when TV is plugged in but not turned ON , and when the power switch is activated. Use chassis as a Ground ref for your meter.
Make sure to list the name of each pin also.Never stop learning

Re: please help me fix my 46' samsung tv
can you post a picture of the multimeter your using so we can see which holes the probes are in (if more than 2) also we can check what settings you have it on. also remember capacitors can still hold a charge when the set is turned off so be carfull also the heatsinks on the power supply can give you shocks as well when the set is powered on. we will try to help but we need to consider your saftey too.

Re: please help me fix my 46' samsung tv
For now, set your meter on DC volts only, and concentrate on the connector which connects the main board (the board with the video inputs on it) and the power board (the board where the power lead connects to.) Take measurements of each pin voltage and report them back, use numbers if they are available near the connectors or if not, use a picture and label it for us.Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: please help me fix my 46' samsung tv
Well I hope you did not try to check the dc voltage setting in the mA mode, the fuse in the meter may have been blown now.
Check an AA/AAA batteries to see if the meter will still show 1.5Vdc.Never stop learning
