    Samsung LN52A650A1F Power recycles

Attempts to Power On, recycling continuously. Associate commented that it's T-Con, replaced with new T-Con (TriState) and it recycles appx 12 times, then stays on and operates normally.

Anyone have any ideas, bad T-Con, Power Supply, Main Board, ?

    Thank you!

I'm guessing main or power supply. I recently sold a LN52A750R1FXZA to a friend. It's started doing the same thing. I haven't had much time to get over there and check it out. From what I can find on the net, it looks like it's main board related. I'll definitely keep my eye on this thread.

How are the caps in the power supply? Standby voltage is solid? I have seen so many of this symptom in Samsung due to bad caps.

As always, I make assumptions prior to actually seeing the unit. I had assumed T-Con, so I tossed good money for nothing. Now that I've replaced with a good T-Con, and no change, I'm going to assume power supply. I'll have a chance to bench test it tomorrow, will update.

Didn't notice it when I replaced the t-con, but now the 2 ea 25V 1000uF caps are definitely bulging. Are there any others I should replace just to be safe?

Replace them all as a set (but not the big 450v one) so you do not have to open it up again.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                  Assuming...

Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 - no power
                  by PantherDave
                  Hi all!

I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅

I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

                  Hi all,

TL;DR - this laptop is driving me nuts with the oddball power-related behaviors. Appreciate any insight you can provide!

I'm experiencing a power issue on an Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74. Although I've worked with electronics and computers for decades, this is my first attempt at getting into motherboard-level component troubleshooting. Any help the community can provide is greatly appreciated!

A few weeks ago I was using the laptop (on battery power) for a Zoom meeting. The battery was running very low (long meeting) but I wasn't worried about...

                  Samsung UN43NU6950FXZA No power

                  Hi

Picked up another TV. Samsung UN43NU6950FXZA. No power and no standBy led on. Removed back cover and:
                  Main fuse = OK
Back light LED = OK. Power them with aux power source
                  LED output = OK 156V
I do get 12 V DC out of the power supply going to the digital section but no 5V or 3.3V. PS_on voltage is only 1.8V. I have looked everywhere on the PCB , I could not find i reference for 5V output.
Also removed connections to panel, speakers and remote but no luck. One strange thing is that even with the LED power supply working, backlight LED do not turn on...

                  Samsung UE75MU7009TXZG Endless Power Cycle

Hi everyone and thanks in advance for any help I might get here

My Samsung TV is about 4 years old. The exact model number is UE75MU7009TXZG.
About half a year ago I started seeing occasional green frames pop up while watching movies. I mean literally green frames. Not the image turning green, but the entire screen turning green for a split second. This happened maybe once or twice during a 2 hour movie. So no big deal, but clearly something was not quite right.

Since a few days, the TV won't turn...
