I have a Phillips 50PF9630A/37 Plasma that recently had the 7 blinking red light issue. The tv wouldn't come on, unless you unplugged it and plugged it back up, then it would come on with no issues. I searched the issue and found the fix here. I took it apart and replaced one of the 3300 uf capacitors that was bulged on the top on the power supply. Put it back together and the tv turned on like normal (which it had been unplugged, so not sure if the issue is fixed).
Now, the top right corner does not display. It is total black. It is a square that goes from the top half way down and goes from the right to about 1/3 to the left. It is about the size of a picture in picture square. This has never happened before and I wouldn't think replacing a capacitor on the power supply would cause this. I took it apart and made sure everything was plugged back in.
Any ideas what is causing this and if there is a fix for it? I tried searching, but the only issue close was the whole top half or whole bottom half, not just the partial top half. Thanks in advance for any help.
