Ok super news about the bridge

It says 1 when messuring fuze. - I will get a fuze somewhere around the city.
When I have that I can start messuring the things again as you describes longer up this thread I think right ?

also what resistance reading do you get on the part not marked, black disk with DSC next to the transformer marked (11)?,this is your thermistor ,should be around 30 ish ohms when cold.
Resistance is a little shifting - I messured with power OFF is that correct ? its shifting in the display from around 7-40

and measure the voltage across the leads of caps 16 and 17,meter set to 1000VDC with power applied, carefull this may have high voltage on it 320+ DCV in an ideal world.
      Its 330v
Multimeter do you maybe have other good ideas what I should messure now im up running again And sorry for the delay I needed to get a new fuze.

Sorry I started a post then realised you did it correctly so deleted it while I got more information.
Next possible test is connector cn08 Picture attached. With the board all connected up, if it it possible I want you to test volts DC on each pin with respect to chassis ground.
Meter on DCV20 black probe on ground test each pin with red probe.

Only if the board is actually connected to the chassis - doesnt look like it?
and the board should be powered?

On the bottom right hand corner of the board (As in Your Pic) the screw hole has one copper dot - you can use that as ground instead.

Hello again. I messured with power on and ground taken from the copper dot.
Still shows 0 on alle pins.

Of corse the boards is not psycal conntected to the iron on the tv - as you can se on the picture - but I asume it still gets ground right ? else i have to wire from the cobber to the ground metal frame on the tv.

I asume that means it dosent send anything to the next board on the left side of the tv. So the problem is still indicated to be on the right board - just before in the curcit of this.

                    It should have been ok
You did have the cable between the boards connected? looks like it in picture but I can only see one end.

yes everything is connected - i just loose. the screws and turned the board around.

be aware that I switched the fuse to a new one. the new i got is
called 350mv250v where the old that i 'killed' was called 3,15a250v
. much bigger but aslong as there is power through i asume that fuse is not a problem right?

                        I dont think it will do I guess you mean 350ma = 350milliamps = 0.35amps

Maybe bigger in physical size but I am surprised if it has not already blown

Hey yes sorry ment 0,35 ma. BUt as long as its not blown I asume I can keep on messuring things - if it was blown would there still be 320v on the capasitators.. the 16 and 17 on my front pictures of the board ?
But I will get a bigger ofcorse - its stupid to messure anything if the fuze can mess up the readings ofcorse.

Thanx again - and sorry for the delay - was on a trip to germany with the family

Gtt a 5a/250v fuze - is that ok to use. There was original 3a/250v in the tv, but the store was out of that fuze type.

I know some of my questions is very basic hehe, its a new world in my head... but what a exiting world

Any thoughts what to messure after we did test the last part where there was no volts at all

Sorry I am having a crisis here just getting my camera ready for next holiday and somehow noticed that a folder on the PC that should have had pictures of a previous holiday to Romania is EMPTY!!!. I have spent most of the day going through old sd cards with a file recovery program. Next I have to try it on various hard drives. Problem is
drives are IDE and currently in a win 7 pc that wont run the recovery program and the
PC with winxp on has just blown the power supply. Worked last week!!.

If you .35A fuse is working then ok just leave it - wont affect any other tests.
best not to use a 5A. I will try and get to read back through the thread later when I am in less of a panic.

Ahh damit i use a mac so not much into windows anymore.
But i do recall there is something called program compability when right clicking the program icon. making older program versions run under win7 etc.

Why is the 5a fuse bad idea - there was a 3a in the tv from start. is it because its to big and will not 'release' before damage is done to the components

Yes a 5A will take longer to blow and cause more damage.

Need to go back to testing the BIG capacitors 16 and 17. as 230v is not right. If you remember you got 320vDC first time.
So Meter on DCV 1000 and the board powered up CAREFULLy test the two legs on each capacitor.

Good - please test 21 200v capacitor with meter on VDC200

Can you get a clearer picture of the back of the board and number the major components

Hey just messured nr 21 - it dosent give any response on VDC200.
The meter switches around 0.00 and 0.01. Power is on and fuze is still ok.
Could this be the "bad" component we are searching fore ?

I will make a better picture of the back with numbers.

Here is a better and bigger picture of the back.
I had to take 2 pictures and set then togeather in photoshop... thats why it loks a little "funny" but it should still work I think.

Not all are numberet but i did with the ones i thing are major components. Else just say if there is other numbers fron the front board picture you need, then I will put them there. I keept the same numbers making the reference more easy i think.
There are 2 pictures - its the same just the picture in the zip file is much larger. Its not possibel to attach so big jpeg pictures here in the upload - unless its in a zip.
                                          Attached Files

Zombie Samsung UN55NU6900F dead / no standby voltage - randomly came to life after hours of troubleshooting then died

This is my first attempt at troubleshooting a board like this, I know I could just buy a new board but I'm curious to figure out how this works. I've been testing different components in the evenings this week and I think the problem is with the IC failing to start up for some reason. When the board is plugged in there is no standby voltage.

Then today it randomly sprung to life like a zombie but shortly died thereafter. I have no idea why it would have done that and its the first time I've seen it running. I discharged capacitors on the board last night, then it was sitting today....

                                            Hello everyone,
I got a Samsung The Frame 55 inch TV for free from uncle cause it is not turning on anymore. I am in the second year of training as an electrician so I have knowledge already but I am far away from to be a pro.
The TV has Standby but ist not turning on. A Friend of mine owns a 50 inch Frame TV so I checked the One Connect Box and the One Connect Cable there. Both are good and working normally. I have opened the TV case and measured some voltages on the Board.
What I already found is that the 12.8V are not an the connector to the main board connector to the power...

                                            TV: Samsung QLED QE65Q7FNAT

I got the tv in spring 2024. At that time it started, then ran 60 sec and poweroff. Seemed like reboot issue. I didn't have time and room to check it in summer so I plugged it in and now the standby light is on. I press button on remote, standby light goes off and tries to start?. No picture or backlight on LCD. I thought about removing diodes like in this thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...sung-qled-q60r...
