Sharp LC-52LE640U Error Code & Voltages

Hi, I've got a Sharp LC-52LE640U that has a black screen and the symbol is flashing 5-fast & 2-slow. According to the service manual, it's a "DET_PNL12V failure". I've read that this may not be a problem with the power supply, but with the main board.

When I plug it in, I'm getting 5V on pin 15 of the 24-pin connector. If I hold the VOL-DOWN & Input buttons when I plug it in, I get this (I can only get to the odd numbered contacts since I need to leave the 24-pin connector plugged in):

    Pin 1 - 12V
    Pin 5 - 13.1V
    Pin 7 - 13.1V
    Pin 13 - 3.3V
    Pin 15 - 5V

After about 15 seconds, the LED starts to flash the code again and I lose the voltages.

Does this - as I'm thinking - tell me that the P/S is okay and the main board is bringing it down? Would it be worth it to buy a used main board for $75?

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Here's a pic I grabbed off the web. It's the same board.

12V panel fail is usually either no 12V to tcon or a blown tcon fuse, the voltages look good. Check the voltage on both sides of the TCON and report back.

Powersupply has all the voltages - Monitor still no power
            by Capacitorial
            Hello guys,

I have a Philips 240B7QPJEB. The monitor seems completely dead.
I opened it and measured the voltages of the powersupply. I found that a mosfet was dead and replaced it.
On the connector, that goes to the TCON board, all voltages 15-19V and 5V are present.
The small connector on the left of the PSU has two cables with 18V and all the other have 0.2V. It connects on this small connector on the left ontop of the panel. I guess the backlight? Seens fine I guess.
The weird thing is, that the Power LED is powered over the TCON board.
            On The TCON...

            Sharp LC-60LE633U Inverter output voltages
            by organman
Greetings, I have a Sharp LC-60LE633U when powered up only the V light comes on. I have checked the LED strips and they all light up. When the LED's are plugged into the PS board I get an output voltage of 74v DC. If I unplug the LED's the output voltage on the PS is 184v DC. Does this indicate a weak PS?
            Thanks...

            by Joekhoe
Hello all, I'm Joekhoe, a newbie here and ask your masters permissions and solutions for the problem i'm facing at the present.

I am in the middle of working on a SHARP Smart TV model LC-52LE835X from my customer, which totally dead and there's no output voltages at all at the output pins even though i have replace some of the components the output voltages remain the same with 0 volt.

            The replacement as follows:
            1. IC7905 : TNY264PN (first found exploded)
            2. Q7915 : BT169D (exploded too)
            3. IC7901 : 1608B (controller ic)
            4. IC7601 :...

Sharp 80” long short flash backlight error - Help
            by Superbee_dad
            Hello Sharp TV experts
Our Sharp LC-80LE642U displays one short one long flash error code which is a backlight error. I went into service mode and there were 8 lamp error counts recorded. I reset the count to 0 and did a reset. The last monitor error cause was 16 B00014639:12. 16 is the code for backlight error. I tried to power the tv up but went back into error mode.

            > I checked voltages on the power supply board and they all check out .. including 3.28 volts at the error pin.
