    Kiowa LED39F3300-T-CON V390HJ1-PO1 failure

    Model: Kiowa LED39F3300

    Motherboard: MS82S (40-MS82S0-MAD2XG)

    Microprocessor: MST6E182VS-LF

    Power Supply: 40-E371C4-PWG1XG (PE371C4)

    T-CON: V390HJ1-XC01

    This is my first participation and I apologize for the language as I am not very fluent in English.

    Backlight + Sound (OK) but no picture (see pictures)

    The measurements I made on the T-CON are as follows:

    VGL=-7.98V / VGH=26.8V / VGHP=31.00V / VREF=17.00V / V12V=11.86V / VD33V=3.27V / V33V12=3.27V / VDD=3.27V /

    S_PWRON=3.25V / PWR_ON=3.25V / XAO=3.26V / GVOFF=2.27V / V1V2=1.19V / POL=1.18V / VCM_CF=VCM_TFT=7.80V /

    VAA=17.66V / CKV=1.82V / STV=0.01V / VCOMS=7.80V

    But VAAM=0.11V (normally 9V) and HVAA_IN=0V (normally 9V)

    I also found the series of capacitors CD4x (CD41-42...CD50) on both sides of the T-CON shorted.

    I have doubts about the UH1 (marked 1577 =G1577_Operational Amplifier) because I find CH1 & CH5 shorted but when I remove RH1, the short disappears.

    Please help me with a schematic of this T-CON or at least the source of the 2 voltages HVAA_IN & VAAM

    Maybe it's the board that is defective?

    So do you have 1 ohm value on RH1 when removed? Does seem like UH1 is the problem. See if you can grab a datasheet for it.

      Dear nomoresonys !
      Yes, I have 1 ohm value on RH1 when removed.
      Thanks for your advice.
      The UH1 (G1577) datasheet is incomplete. It's a low power operational amplifier.
      I'm looking for the source of the two voltages, VAAM and HVAA.
      The CM501 Shifter IC is OK.
      My friendly greetings

        LG 82UN8570AUD ~ TCON or PANEL?
        by kca
        Hello all ~

        Hope this finds you well. This LG 82UN8570AUD (April 2021 model) 4K UHD television has full audio capabilities but video is compromised / problematic.

        When I picked up this large LG tv it had a full black screen upon startup. Previous owner said it just went black one day. No popping sound or anything else of note.

        I got the display to work by taping off several traces of the right-hand side ribbon cable on the TCON that leads from TCON to PANEL. However, despite dozens and dozens of attempts to find the right combination / range of traces taped...

        TCL 50S535 bad tcon or panel issue?
        by x_orange90_x
        Just bought this for 10 bucks yesterday hoping to fix it. The guy said water dropped inside from a dehumidifier hose and it started showing black and white vertical bars then went blank. When I got it home and turned it on it came on fine and displayed correctly but I was noticing faint vertical bars in the image. After a little bit I turned it off and back on and it was a black screen again. I opened it up to check for water damage and corrosion but didn't find anything of the sort. I cleaned the ribbons anyway and reconnected them but still got a blank screen. If I disconnect the right side...

        MacBook Pro late 2016 (820-00239) with multiple failure modes.
        by npielawski
        I will just preface all this by saying that I have a fairly technical background but have never attempted SMD electronics diagnostics and repair before, I really like the idea and want to learn.

        I have a MacBook Pro late 2016 that died maybe four years ago. Over the course of 30 seconds, it got slower and stuttered, until it froze for a second and died. No click from the trackpad anymore, nothing. I started getting interested in electronics repair and decided to give it a shot, so I opened it, removed the battery (one cell was puffy), took out the motherboard and experimented with...

        Driving a Sharp TCON/panel with a universal main board
        by advant
        This thread is about trying to get an Universal Main Board to work with a Sharp TCON and panel.

        I have a Sharp LC-46D85UN TV that has had a main board issue. Since this model is from 2009, I am not able to find an exact replacement of the main board. Instead, I decided to see if I can future proof this tv by getting a Universal Main Board (T53U21.2) from China to work with the Sharp TCON (CPWBX4291TPZA) and panel. The universal main board supports a 8 bit dual channel LVDS interface whereas the TCON requires a 10 bit dual channel LVDS input. I have modded the LVDS connector to match...

        LG OLED77G1PUA - No Video / Audio after a TCON Board change and Software Update
        by Hakuu
        Hi There,

        This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.

        After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.

        More Details

        TV Model - LG OLED77G1PUA

        Got the same exact TCON board from TVPartsToday and replaced it. But didnt transfer the EPPROM data (didnt...
