Samsung 50 plasma. Bad Z-sustain?? WITH picture

Friend sent me this photo. fixed a few plasmas. Without looking at it. Seems to have the classic symptoms of a bad Z-sust. or buffer just going by the picture?? Just wanted everyone's thoughts??

I had a Philips that had a bad Z-sust. But the entire screen was white pixely. the bottom and top of this screen appears to be OK if you look at this display being used as a monitor?? Hoping its not a bad panel??

worth saving if I only require a sustain and or buiffer

Are you sure that's a plasma? I've only seen LCD samsungs with that glass edge on the bezel (I could be completely wrong)

Very possible!! He said plasma but is suppose to get me model #. Hope it's a LCD. Easier fix!! Ha ha

LCD: 100% bad panel if the lines are fixed.
Plasma: 95% bad panel if the lines are fixed. 5% chance bad buffers but not aware of it being an issue on Samsung panels like these.
