    LG 42PJ350- No picture

Hello all, I've been looking for a forum like this for a while...glad I found it!

I have a LG 42PJ350 that my neighbor gave me for free because it wont turn on. I figured I would give it a go and hope I can fix it. When I initially plug it in I hear two clicks "Click....Click" and the stand-by light illuminates. However, when I push the power button, nothing happens except the stand-by light extinguishes. I did some research on the model and someone suggested I change capacitors C360 and C351 on the power supply board. I changed them and still have the same issues. I have checked the three fuses on the Y-SUS board and the three fuses on the power supply board (all check good). I then disconnected the Y-SUS board and tried to power on the TV, still no voltage at VS and VA. I didn't want to randomly pull any other components off the board just to put a meter on them, however, if you suggest it, I'm willing to try anything. Any thoughts?

    Thank you in advance...

It only clicks when I plug it in initially. It won't click when I push the power button. Do you still recommend I change the resistors? Thanks

Great read. Thanks. I changed both resistors. Unfortunately, it didn't fix the issue. Still doing the same. Any ideas? Thanks.

You checked Vs & Va from Y-sustain board using a volt meter?

Sorry for not getting back to you any sooner, I was out of town for the 4th of July...

Update...I plugged in the TV, hit the power button, and it turned on!!! The picture was perfect. Unfortunately, after I turned it off it wouldn't turn back on

Tom66, I checked for power on the power supply board (top left connector on the picture). It's the connector that connects the YSUS and the power supply board together. There was no power there.

                Thank you.

Can we get a pic from the plug that goes from the powerboard to the mainboard? Should be a printing beside it telling what wire does what... like standby power,power-on etc...

I'm kinda curious if you get the power-on signal from the mainboard or not..
Kinda hard to read on that pic....Having a standby light would suggest the 5 volt standby is working,do you get any voltage on pl-on and m-on? (not totally sure, which on turn on the powersupply to be honest)..

I have 5 vdc on both rl_on and m_on. I attached a better picture of the connector. Thanks
