How can we check or test the led driver of an lcd tv.Can a load proportional to the voltage and current drawn by the driver be connected? How do you proceed?

If the TV is powering up. Then with the TV OFF disconnect the Backlight connector and set your DMM to 1000V and connect the Balck lead to the chassis ground or and metallic area and the Red lead to the +ve pin on the Backlight LED connector. Turn ON the TV. If the Driver is working the voltage would go to 300V and gradually go back down to 70V or 0V.
If that doesn't happen the Driver is not working. Hope this helps.
