I've seen that before on some Samsung devices, it's a proprietary Samsung connector. Your best bet is to hook an amplifier up to a standard audio output red/white or optical/spdif.

thanks tom. is there no way of just hookong a diiferent type onto each as an amp isnt an option at the minute its for my boy and his games etc. I have seen them before but for the hell of me cant find anything as my description brings up your normal type of speaker connections

They are speaker terminals. You will have to wire the speaker wires directly to the terminals. It's no special connector, just screw terminals.

Yeah sorry, they looked like screws to me, looking much harder at them they look sort of like some kind of three section male banana plugs. Since you said they are rated at 8 Ohms, next to an a/v input and in two pairs I would still guess they are stereo speaker outputs. Kind of a funky connection but I bet still for external speakers.

              Owners manual:

              Yep, external speaker connections.

Ho-boy! I must apologize for missing the fact that you knew they are spkr connections. (slap my forehead!) If you are missing the Samsung cables I saw some sources online you can buy them from when I searched for Samsung speaker cables.
