Just wanted to share some information that I ran across when attempting to do the tape method on a tv with a shorted panel. I normally use magnifying glasses however while watching a you tube video, the person was using their phone. It seems that the Iphone has a magnifier app and wow, it works great. I have Iphone 11 and the app is built in. Pictures attached are screen shots. Made taping the pins a breeze. Also useful when reading the tiny print on the boards. Hope this helps somebody.

The video was about a shorted panel I needed help with, but she was doing something with the ICs. What caught my eye was the phone. (about 12:50 into the video) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdw8Mub9ReUComment

by SMDFleaCopying DMI information from an old bios to a new one is difficult for some members, often they have no experience with a hex editor,or some that have tried find it too hard. There is an option to make things easier for those members so that they don`t need to post their own bios backup for the DMI copying.
Experienced bios modding members can help by posting in other threads the DMI offsets, macro script generated by the software and a download link to the software at softpedia mentioned in this guide,or post your macros in the comments here with a link to the bios request thread ....-

by AJ847.63eHi All,
Has anyone tried to use a XS screen on a iphone X before? I've got a old dead iPhone XS which I was hoping to use the screen on my iphone X as the glass on it has cracked. According to google the connectors are the same but some screw holes don't line up, but I'm assuming that doesn't matter as I can use some double-sided adhesive instead. Better than spending 280 bucks on a new screen when I already have a perfectly good OEM XS one.07-31-2023, 10:31 PM -
