    Lg PDP50X30010

Re: LG 42pt350 A little help.
This is also my 1st post here. I have the LG PDP50X30010 that has the same symptoms. The red LED would stay on and when the power button is pressed to turn on the tv, the green LED would come on, blink a few times, then a click, and the red LED will come on again. I have replaced 6 caps on the power supply board that were pop. I have tried all of the suggestions here short of replacing any of the boards. I did one other thing that has not been mentioned here and that is UN-plugging the connector on the power board that connects to the audio MAIN Board. The connector is labeled P802 on the power supply board. When I un=plugged this connector, the green LED stays on. Does this mean the Z_sustain board still is the culprit or does this mean that the main board need to be replaced. I'd like to make sure before I order the Z_sustain board. Any help is really appreciated.

    Thank You,

    Alex

      Re: Lg PDP50X30010

I would start by posting some pictures of the boards,so the experts here know what they are dealing with.
Take good pictures of the connectors on the Z-board and Y board etc.
that way you will be asked to test connector so and so for shorts and what not.
With a bit of testing you can often prevent buying boards you don't need....

Hi, I took some pictures of my tv last night and tried to upload them but having trouble uploading them. They may be too large and will need to upload one at a time. I'll keep trying.
