    Jvc lt-22de72

I had a TV brought to me the one listed in the title, and the owner thought it was a busted screen. upon closer examination the bottom three quarters of the screen is just really dark grey. It seems as if it works properly, except for the greyed out part.

I tried checking cable connections and fiddling with them, but I can't seem to figure out if its LCD or if it could possibly be the main board.

    Dell 5410 greyed out BT
    by OntarioTL
Well I've learned something new today. Of all the Dell laptops I've come across I have never seen bluetooth greyed out, and only to learn this is during the build from Dell factory. I've tried to pull the original BIOS and fix with another dell with the same issue on the forums, however the original was not recovered from the forum upgrade so I cannot do a comparison to attempt the fix on my own.

If someone could help me out with this unit and I'll try the next one as so far I have 2 on my desk with this issue. Thanks in advance!

    Thanks.

HDD drive greyed out in Disc management
    by 6BW6
Got a Satta HDD showing in 'My computer' HDD (D) when trying to format it say's 'insert disk'.

In Disk management, Drive D is my disk 1 and all greyed out - no media! Using CMD and Diskpart, it won't let me do anything .... maybe I'm doing something wrong here. I did have a disk like this some while ago and managed to get it running - but not this time.

    Any advice please? Thanks, Dave

    HP Quadro K2100M MXM 3.0 type-a Laptop GPU short-circuit
    by Teeri
    Hello
My trusty old HP Zbook 15 G1 died the other day. After disassembling it and fiddling around with, I found out that it's actually the nVidia Quadro K2100M MXM 3.0 type-a GPU card that is the culprit. Futher investigation lead to the realisation that the PWR_SCR lines of the card are shorted to ground.

    Symptoms on the laptop.
When I connect the power supply, with no battery, the white led next to the connector flashes once. No other signs of life. After this the power supply does not work for couple of minutes, so I quess it goes in some sort of safe mode, because...

Apple MBP A1706 with greyed out audio
    by tommiy
Hi All, I have a A1706 MBP that recently went to have the keyboard replaced under the recall program. Apparently this involves replacing the upper shell with battery and then fitting the existing logic boards into the new shell. Upon return it appears that the MBP has no audio. Upon booting the chime sounds but once booted the OS shows no audio input or output devices. Is it possible that the replacement shell was faulty that would cause this or perhaps the connectors to the speakers/mic left disconnected? Looking for some advice from some one who may have experience in the repair of these. Thanks...
