I took it apart and rechecked all the zeners and made sure they were going in the right direction and check the resistors against what they are rated and re-flowed the solder on all parts that came in the kit. Any ideas what I can check now?

Check the Voltages on all the pin of the STR-W6765 using the Ground pin 3 of the IC as the ground ref point, we need to find out if it is getting the VCC and other voltages or not.
See page 21 of the service manual.

pin 1 165v pin 4 bounces with the relay clicking the other pins have nothing.

maybe .004v on the ones I said nothing.

Well I took a chance and thought maybe I got a bad Q880 so ordered another new one but it did not help any same thing.

CraigR : Did you ever get that figured out . I have the same thing with the 167 volts on the pfc and the relay clicking. Thanks for any info.

No, still waiting for budm. Did you replace Q880 already?

Replaced Q880 and Q820. Also saw where someone said to replace Q860 also so I ordered one of those and waiting for it. Still not sure how those would affect the PFC voltage.

Unless they are loading down the circuit somehow.

Broke down and bought a $70 used power board just to find that fixed it but the screen was cracked so back for sale on eBay.

Not the good one but I have the old one I can sell you and it has all the new stuff on it you can take off and use on yours. If you read this thread then you know all the stuff I tried.

LOL looks as bad as my place. Could do a trade for in the future. I have over $50 in this damn thing but if you pay for shipping I will just send it to you then in the future you can help me out. How does that sound??
