pilot 46'' lcd

hi.
this tv uses power supply AYL400208 like rca tv that already posted in this forum.
the problem is that somtimes the backlight is foe sec than shut and somtime working ok.
i check the 4blue pf capi in the inverter section ther looks ok.
i check the volttage in the ic OB3316 PIN 1 3.5V PIN 16 5.08V AND PIN7 5.1V SEEMS OK.
i found in some webs that ther is a repaer kit but not shure that it can solve the problem or sould i order this ic ob3316 or therv is somthing alse that cousing yhe problem.
is somone know how to bypass the protect in this ic just to obtien if ther is any problem with one of the lamp.

Do you have steady supply voltages from the PSU?
The capacitor on pin 5 determines the protection. Blobbing it with solder will disable the protection - caution there is a risk of damaging the transformers.

i did it and now the tv works about 30 min no smell of burn in trans or somthing alse i need to operet on and off alots of time to see if the problem comeback again .0
if it will be ok that means that the ic is bad?.

the problem comeback again
after a few day that the tv works fine i gave it to the customer and he call me today and said that the the same problem in the tv after it works 2 days
i not shure if i will buy a ps it will solve the problem or maybe that another problem such poor contact in the lams what do you suggest TOM.66.

Well, if you left the solder bridge on, you could have caused permanent damage to the inverter.
