Samsung QN75QN800AF doing constant reboots, and click sound from Connect One device.

So here is the thing. Someone from a rich neighborhood posted a sale on a broken Samsung. It was doing re-boot all the time.
A web search revealed a very quick fix, so I bought it TV for $100.

First move was to get a new used Samsung Connect Box but there was no change on error.
I opened up the device, and what I saw was way different on what was on YouTube videos, in terms of complexity.

Now, I can replace all 3 board onboard, and give it a go, but that may also be a waste of money. I can get all components for $150

Below is the video of what is going on when It is powered.

What should be my next step on fixing this.
I plan on using it since this is a fancy one.

Thanks in advance for your time and thoughts!

Rebooting generally means a panel fault. Which isnt fixable. But sometimes we can get lucky on these tvs. As a note, don't ever buy a rebooting Samsung again for $$ unless you need something on them specifically.

On these qleds we can sometimes get lucky

Take a picture of the buffer boards at the bottom of the TV with clear pictures. It's the long strips at the very bottom, post a picture of all of it which will be a few pictures.

    This will be a start.

Now there is a yellowish ribbon that connects those buffer boards one on the left side and one on the right side. Undo the far left side ribbon and take it off Don't leave any bits hanging and then plug the TV in and turn it on and see if you get 3/4 of a picture. If it's still rebooting unplug the TV plug that ribbon back in and then try the right side and unplug that ribbon and see if you get 3/4 of a picture when you plug it in then. Make sure you're not unplugging those ribbons while the TV is plugged in. It's the yellowish ribbons not the ones coming from the main board in the middle. Let us know if anything happens, sometimes this test doesn't work but let's see

Yes, removing far left got a 3/4 of a picture and stopped the reboot process.

ok tried to tape the ribbons to block the short, and must have done something wrong since screen is all colored lines at the moment. I am guessing I will be heading to recycling tomorrow.

Sorry for late response.. yes if you got 3/4 then yes panel short. I would take the boards out and the one connect boxes and resell them on eBay. They fetch a pretty penny. Also that cable for ocb also.

Try the 3/4 picture again see if lines are gone. Sorry to hear 🥺

Trying to Save - Samsung 65" The Frame (QN65LS03B) with no signs of life (One Connect Box)
                by KYBOSH
I picked this one up today.
Previous owner says no signs of life.
TV looks immaculate and its a 2022 model year so I thought maybe the one connect cable was damaged.
Got it home and put it on the Kill-A-Watt power meter and it was completely dead.

The TV model is QN65LS03BAFXZA - version: CB06
                The One Connect Box BN44-01066D / BN96-54788Q / BN39-02470A.

I immediately remembered EazyBone's Samsung The Frame TV no power....One Connect thread and am preparing myself to tear the One Connect open and hunt for dead parts.

                Will keep you all...

Samsung UN70NU6900F no picture and no sound
                by jchang
                Hi all

I was just given a Samsung TV with the issue. I read various threads and videos and attempted the ribbon tape method to gain an image, but no luck.

                Symptom:
                No picture no sound.
When I plug in the power cord, Backlight LED turns on for a half second and then turns off. The red LED next to the power button located center bottom flashes 2 or 3 times. When the power button is pressed after, it does the same thing.
                No sound at all.

                What I tried:
                1. I tried unplugging the left or right ribbon...

Samsung UE60KU6079 backlight okay mainboard responsive, no picture, no sound
                by Ierwin
                Hello everyone,
Ive got a UE60KU6079 on the workbench that is giving me some headaches trying to troubleshoot.
The previous owner stated that there had been white dots on the screen which from the description sounded like some lenses fell of the backlight LEDs.
He had opened the TV from the back, trying to get to the backlight, supposedly gave up, reassebled everything and gave the TV to me.
I expected the worst like ripped COF cables or a cracked panel but could not find anything like that yet.
Anyway I still fully expect that there has been something seriously damaged...

Samsung 55HU8590 UE55HU8590 maybe one connect box ocb
                by An-klamm
                Hello!

I have a TV that I can't get any further with.
It is a Samsung UE 55HU8590 with one connect box.
When I turn on the TV without the one connect box, the animation on the TV tells me to connect the ocb.
As soon as I connect it, the TV restarts (panel goes dark) and the TV tries to start continuously (relay on the SMPS clicks about every 3 seconds).
Since the TV works without ocb, I assume that it can't be the PSU?!
I have measured all contacts of the one connect cable against GND on the ocb board and there is no short circuit anywhere.
                Is there...
