Samsung QLED QE65Q7FNAT only standby light

    TV: Samsung QLED QE65Q7FNAT
    PSU: BN4400940A
    MB: BN94-12832K

I got the tv in spring 2024. At that time it started, then ran 60 sec and poweroff. Seemed like reboot issue. I didn't have time and room to check it in summer so I plugged it in and now the standby light is on. I press button on remote, standby light goes off and tries to start?. No picture or backlight on LCD. I thought about removing diodes like in this thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...ot-issue/page2
Could it be diodes or maybe even motherboard issue?

Start at first thing. Remove main board to PSU connector at the psu and see if backlights come on and stay on.

Reboot issue is not coming on for 60 seconds and restart.. it means backlights come on and flash and restart repeatedly with no picture so might not be that. Don't remove diodes until we nail it down. Do the above and report what happens

I have the tv with big oneconnect box. When I remove the cable from PSU there is no power coming to power supply.
I did try to measure with everything connected voltages. And where should be 13V there is only 1V.

I also did measure voltages in big caps up on my pictures and these seemed to have 0v with powered on or off. So I am thinking that if 1) The power from oneconnect box doesn't get to the board. 2) The oneconnect box doesn't give power?
Next I will measure the outputs from oneconnect box and from the input to the tv-s motherboard.

You need to open the one connect box and then plug in and measure the 12v out puts. They pretty easy to open. I didn't know it had a one connect box.. disconnecting main board with OCB may not work for lights.

Just undo the 5 or so screws and you have to pry it open and check the fuses, probably 2, then if all good plug in and measure the 12v and stby etc. there should be a legend on it. These boxes are a big problem so just do that.

Opened the connector box. Checked outputs. A13V and GND is 12,8V so it seems good. I did measure B350V and B_GND and it was 0V so no output of 350V. Does the conenctor box give 350V from start or should I short PS_ON with something to run?

One component seems dusty and "hot", but everything else looks fine.

A common problem with One Connect is the cable itself, check with a different cable.

with out one box cable connected the TV should work and show picture to connect the OB, so the BL will turn on..
also if you disconnect the LVDS on the right side when you look on screen... from back the left side will turn on with picture connect the OB

I just have the same problem with the exact same model of TV. Can we figure out together what the problem is with it?

Ok! Which is what I wrote about...(very fragile cable).

                            by ChristianBr01
                            Hello everyone,
I got a Samsung The Frame 55 inch TV for free from uncle cause it is not turning on anymore. I am in the second year of training as an electrician so I have knowledge already but I am far away from to be a pro.
The TV has Standby but ist not turning on. A Friend of mine owns a 50 inch Frame TV so I checked the One Connect Box and the One Connect Cable there. Both are good and working normally. I have opened the TV case and measured some voltages on the Board.
What I already found is that the 12.8V are not an the connector to the main board connector to the power...

                            Hey Everyone,

So I've got this Samsung and the reported issue is that when powered on the backlight comes on, but no picture, no sound, it will flicker, the standby light will flash red twice and repeat the whole process...each loop lasts about 15 seconds.

I've googled the issue and understand it is likely a panel/driver board issue, but was hoping the "tape method" could be successful. Before I did that though, I disconnected the left LVDS cable and powered the TV on. This time I got sound, no picture and the two blink standby light stopped. Did the same...

                            by marcinq
                            Hello,

I've got a problem with a Samsung UE60KS7000 that was given to me and said that there was a problem with the One Connect box but as I understand the TV should turn on even with the One Connect box disconnected (which it doesn't). There is no stand by light.

I've disconnected the Main Board from the PSU and when connecting to mains the backlight turns on which suggests the PSU might be ok. I've measured the voltages out of the PSU and they seem reasonable (like the labels say). The main board has no obvious burns, there are no shorts on the power rails anywhere....
