    What causes tv shadowing ?

I found a tv on the local BST someone is selling for 200 Bux, tv is a 65' Samsung un65mu6300, I was told by the person that had it listed that "TV works fine but there is some shadowing in light screens. Hardly notice it but hubby is OCD & we bought a new one"

Could this be easily fixable as in settings or such or should I just leave it there

Do not buy it. Shadowing is caused by bad LEDs. This isn't a edgelit TV and the LEDs can eventually just shut off giving you no picture. It could happen in 20 minutes or 6 months. Eventually they are all going to die. A proper price for this TV would be about 20-50$. If you could fix it, which I probably wouldn't recommend a beginner to do as you have to take the whole screen off and .. lots more problems can occur as well. the parts are probably $50.

This TV with out bad LEDs is worth like 200-260$
