Hi everyone,
I'm currently in a little dilemma with my LG 50PS8000 plasma.
I have identified the problem is with my zsus board. I replace it with a used board and it worked perfectly for 2 weeks then failed. The part was under warranty and I am getting a refund which was good.
I spoke to the guy at the shop who told me the plasma panel causes the zsus board to fail. He said something to do with the increasing resistance in the panel, through usage, causes the problem with neighbour circuit boards. Can anyone shed some light on that matter?
So if the panel is causing the problem then there is no point of repair/replace the zsus board as the panel will just damaging the circuit boards. On the other hand, if the panel is not the issue then it could just be the used zsus board I got was on its last leg. Now, the question would be is it better to buy a brand new circuit board £110+ or get my faulty board repaired £60?
Any help will be appreciated.
Ken
