    Red and Green Pixels why?

I have replaced Ysus boards, buffer boards, and STK chips. When I am done I make sure all the voltages are perfect as per the panel sticker. But yet I still get a little amount of pixels in the top corners of the tv. No matter how much adjustments I make, they never go away. They are hardly noticeable but they are still there. Is this normal? My other Plasma's in the house don't have them.

This is called maldischarge and is a common fault with older LG plasmas. To fix it, a firmware update is required:

Try droping the VS voltage a bit, see if that helps, You may have to adjust vsetup and vsetdn also Panels do age over time, the older LG's were bad for this. sometimes firmware on the ctrl board needs to be updated and can help.
You also need to put the make and model in your post, bet you get a better response if you did.

Of course they are both LG's. Well one is an Akai made by LG. The model of the LG is 50PC3D. The model of the Akai is PDP42Z5TA. So where do I find firmware upgrades for them? Oh and I adjusted every pot on the Ysus and the Zsus. I didn't touch the power supply, it was reading fine.

You need an expensive jig to do it. Capkid offers the service for about $25. It's well worth it, I've used him before.

I have a 46" 1080P LCD in the living room and I was going to replace it with this older 50" plasma but the LCD is only a few years old. Maybe I'll just sell it. I paid only $120 after it was all said and done.

I forgot to add. I replaced the lower driver board and one of the tabs was cracked. So I taped it down. Would that cause the green and red pixels?

No. It is maldischarge as above.

                    LCD TV Green/Pink screen problem
                    by jimjoe123
I have a Dick Smith 37" LCD TV, Model GE6804. I am using it as PC extended monitor only.

Problem is while watching tv, I hear a semi loud click(like a electrical breaker tripping due to overload, just sound like it but no actual electrical overload), then screen is covered with green or pink. I can still see the original picture image but overlayed by green or pink. See attached images. Pink.jpg is what I see, and Normal.jpg is before green or pink screen, What I captured was pink screen, but about 80% of time it's green and 20% of time it's pink.

                    Then each time...

Samsung LN46A750R1 LCD - Moving green and magenta pixels
                    by Tbfm
                    Hi all.

I bought this LCD TV back in 2008 new and has worked and looked awesome since day one until about 8 months ago when these moving green and magenta dots started showing up that would move with the picture displayed seemingly with certain displayed colours often with whites.

The pixels appear in the system menu displays so I am certain that its not any kind of faulty cables or bad hdmi, and also removed/reseated and cleaned the LVDS cable with no change.

I have looked all over Badcaps and the internet in general for people with similar issues...

Take a look at this video for a better idea: https://i.imgur.com/hDnTckc.mp4

It started a while ago. In the beginning it would be only small portions of the screen, and then as the screen warmed up it would go away, but recently it covers the whole screen and no longer goes away. If the input is black it sometimes doesn't happen, but as you see in the video, if theres a bright pixel, the green pixels after it will light up. And not all of them, its every nth one. If the resolution is lower, the green pixels are farther apart. It happens on all inputs (cdmi, DisplayPort...

Hi ! to all fellows out there!

I have an LG 55inch 55RG910V-ZB Curved TV. With the following problem: When I turn it ON with Remote I get a Green noise Screen (attached foto).
I have tried reseating all ribons, Checked PSU 24V,12V,3v ,etc voltages.

The TV opens on the first Green noise screen and it freezes there -no respone of menu keys ,etc -only on/off via Remote. (I also noticed carefully that except from green noise screen there is a ghost image at bottom and left vertical side)
I tried connected the lan and I can seee TV via local lan (as a device I...
