    Lg 60ls5700

Does anyone know what are green & yellow parts on main board of LG 60LS5700 TV? Are they replaceable and where could I buy them? Thanks in advance?

Surely they are jacks? I'm assuming some sort of 3.5mm audio and video jacks. Likely to be a fairly proprietry part. But if my conclusion is correct you could probably desolder from the board and do without that function. Looks like someone has done some real work on them! Probabaly tried to force an incorrect plug in, or perhaps the leads were yanked out at an angle and fractured the jacks.

A2141 No audio on speakers, yes audio on headphone jacks.
      by abajor
I just can't escape Apples most CURSED laptop the dreaded A2141.

Can't find any info on this speaker problem. I've been digging through the schematics and found there's a separate chip U6300 to drive the headphone jack.
It appears all of the audio signal is transmitted using i2S. It's pretty wild that the internal speakers have 3 amplifiers each. I'm assuming whatever provides the clock or routes the signal to the speaker amps has an issue?
U3900 is as far as I've gotten in my exploration.

Anybody know this issue? Is it fixable? U3900 looks like something...

Alienware Area 51M Monster Dual Jacks, 1 Shorted
      by mgrharry
Alienware Area 51M laptop. This monster has an i9-9900K desktop CPU and replaceable GPU. For full performance it requires two power adapters. The system works, but complains of insufficient power when posting with only 240W adapter connected. Unfortunately there is a short to ground on one of the power rails so the secondary power adapter cannot be utilized. In testing there is a short across the pins of DC in connector so it seems like it should be an obvious short on a component like tvs diode that has blown to protect board. The shorted jack trace goes through board and on the other side there...

what i went through dealing with my mobo with dead onboard sound!
      by ChaosLegionnaire
so i took out one of my spare gigabyte ep35-ds3r mobos from storage for use to do some cpu, ram and video card testing of stuff i bought from ebay and got for free from momaka. he bought 50 e8400 cpus for cheap from ebay some years ago and i decided to help him relieve him of some of his supply since he had waaaay too many!! what did we say about hoarding too much stuff and depriving others of them?! *cough* socialism *cough* lol!

i had to blow some dust off the board and heatsinks with the datavac as i didnt clean it up before putting it in storage. after finishing...

      RJ45 Block Diagram / Schematic

RJ45 network connectors are most commonly found at either end of an Ethernet (wired internet) connection. At first glance, they appear similar to the familiar telephone plugs and jacks which connect landlines to walls or switchboards. However, RJ45 connectors are typically slightly larger.

The term RJ45 connector is widely used today to describe both male RJ45 plugs and female RJ45 sockets. The plugs, sometimes called modular connectors, are usually found on the end of Ethernet cables. The sockets or jacks are generally embedded in the device...

Help troubleshooting an audio problem with an RCA SGT-250 CED Player
      by samson7point1@yahoo.com
The Problem: This player has a toggle switch to select between Stereo, Mono R, and Mono L. Regardless of the setting it outputs the sound to both the L&R audio jacks. In the Mono R position, the audio output level is normal (from both the L and R audio output jacks), in the Stereo position the audio output is about half the volume, and in Mono L, it's about 3/4 the volume. Something about putting it into Stereo mode is causing the volume to drop significantly and I can't figure it out.

The player processes the audio signal using two different reference frequencies. The "R"...
