one black line to the left and 3 very thin multi coloured lines on the right

Can't see anything else but a bad panel causing it.

Thanks tom not really clear pictures I can try again ? But not repairable ?

Lines on a panel are almost never repairable. There are only a few exceptions, on the 52" Samsung 2008 models (A-series), they are caused by bad tab bonds, sometimes.

Where on earth do you keep getting these bad panel TVs from?!
