    samsung ue46c6000 weird alternating lines

    Hello,

I encountered an issue with my TV long before noticing a pattern of alternating red lines. Initially, I replaced the T-Con board, but the problem persisted. After a year, I decided to open the TV again and found some oil leaks around the CPU, RAMs, and LVDS FPC connector, likely from the thermal pads. I reconnected the LVDS connector but still faced the same issue with the alternating lines.

At first, I thought the LVDS cable might be loose. I inspected the cable, found no damage, cleaned the connector, and reconnected it, but the issue remained. This led me to suspect a problem with the video processing from the mainboard or an issue with the COFs board/COFs.

Despite extensive searching on the internet, I couldn't find anyone experiencing the same issue.

Can anyone help me diagnose this problem further or suggest potential solutions?

There are already some topics about this model and also other Samsung and this typical fault, i have one of this and i noticed there are two twin clock level shifters called AG32xx, don't remember exactly, on the tcon, on them there is one or two outputs not regular, i don't remember all info, give me the time to find my discussion.. if i recall the correct freq. are 100Hz for some lines and 15khz for the most of them..

Hi Davi, i have removed the ckv1 ckvb1 and ckv3 ckvb3 hooked them to voff and removed the NTC (thermistor) to increase voff to -20 and it fixed the issue, but i'm worried about vgl -20v is it ok ? and why removing these clockes from tcon fixed the issue

I have watched this type of mod by a YouTube video but i don't fully understand this method, surely there is a clock line or more at fault, what is not clear is if is shorted at the panel or at the tcon or both , by decreasing the voff you probably balance the voff leak due to sh.cir.

                Samsung QE50Q67TAU - horizontal lines
                by Rubenlily
                Hello,

First of all I'm new here. While looking I found this amazing forum and I'm very happy I did. Now for my problem:

I picked up a Samsung UHD QLED QE50Q67TAU from 2021 for $50 knowing it was defective. The seller said it had black lines and that it could get stuck in boot randomly.

I've tried a new power cable, hard reset, opening up and jiggling all cables, pressing everywhere to see if I get a reaction but I've gotten nothing. I've tried the tape method but I've only managed to get the lines worse.

I'm no expert but I've done the tape...

                Samsung QN50Q60t lines on screen
                by jeyoung12
                Hi all
I have lines on the screen...which is an age old problem that can be remedied by watching Youtube videos and getting out the tape.
My issue (after successfully fixing a different sammy tv with a separate tcon board and isolating the side of the panel...):

This tv has an integrated tcon...so it is a bit more confusing when trying to isolate the clocks.
It has a c ribbon and i have taken each end out to see if that will isolate the lines. instead, it makes it much worse ALL over the tv!

So....i don't know what end of the C ribbon to work with...
