0VDC, so the main board is not sending the Voltage to the T-CON board, more troubleshooting required.
BTW, what is the LCD panel model number so we can look up the spec sheet to find out what the DCV requirement is for the T-CON?

OK, the T-CON needs 5Vdc.

First opportunity in days to return to this project.

There is in fact 5 VDC at the T Con fuse. Also at pins 26 to 30 as it should be. What had happened during previous measurement is that the TV had gone into stand by and I did not notice that!

So there is voltage where it should be but the screen is either blank or initially shows sets of horizontal lines before gradually fading to dull blue. The tv tuner operates as I can get sound.

Looks like the T con has failed? If so I wonder why? Perhaps I was careless during the reassembly after replacing the problem diodes but don't think so as everything I did was done tentatively.

So bottom line is to ask whether this can now be confirmed as a dead T Con?
