viewsonic n2750w model vs10576-1m repair questions

ok,I am trying to fix my sisters viewsonic n2750w model vs10576-1m

After reading a couple posts I have determined that it has the 2 sec to black problem. or more appropriately the half second to black. the tv seems to function fine, sound but I can only see a picture by shining a flashlight on it. But the tv is functioning fine otherwise. After reading https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=10419 this thread I thought maybe it was a transistor because it was so quick to go to black.

so after taking the back off I found three boards.

    Main board

    power board

    and audio board

after visual inspection all capacitors look fine. Since the sound is fine and the main board seems overwhelming I am focusing on the power board capacitors. After taking the power board to an Electronic repair friend he said replace the 4 larger capacitors at the top of the board 2 1000uf 25v and 2 1000uf 35v. After being told panasonic makes a quality capacitor I picked some up. I installed the capacitors and plugged in the tv and it did not fix the problem. Also there has developed some sound coming from the speaker which I am told can also be caused by some of the smaller capacitors on the board being bad. Since then I have purchased the "MK - 168 TRANSISTOR TESTER"

If anyone knows anything about this meter, it did not come with instructions but I am figuring it out. One of the pluses of this meter is that it measures ESR. I am not use to working with ESR so I am learning more about that every day.
    So here are my issues:

I plan on removing all the capacitors and testing them off the power board this week hopefully I will find an abnormality and maybe just order a new set for the board and replace them all anyways. Is there a standard esr I should look for? If I remember correctly it should be around 18 -20? I cant help but think my thoughts of the transistor being problem. I need to figure out how to test transitors with this tool(if anyone has any ideas). Can transistors be tested in circut?
I also wanted to get a group opinion as to if i am on the right track, any other idea might solve the problem.

Thank in advance for all your help.

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

TCL 55S425 few horizontal lines, potential failure on both side of panel/buffer board
    by howardc64
All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)
    • TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
    • Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault

HP Pavilion 15-eh Board DAG7HAMB8F0 - CPU throttling to 0.4GHz (PROCHOT_EXT) and black screen

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

Panasonic TC-P54VT25 No image. A or D board?
    by canadaboy25
I have a Panasonic TC-P54VT25 that will power on and prime the display but there is no image at all.

The panel is primed as there is a slight glow from the entire panel. This means the problem should be logic related. The service manual also confirms this and recommends replacing the A or the D board.

I have tried to get the TV to display the test sequence but I have been unable to and I don't even know if this TV has a test sequence or not. I tried following tom66's instructions in post #3 on this thread https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=26790. There was...

Panasonic switching power supply daughter board has two 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors which I do not keep in stock
    by sam_sam_sam
I did not have any 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors but one nice thing is that it has enough room for two capacitors in parallel a 22uf and a 4.7uf @ 50 volts 22 plus 4.7 equals 26.7uf which so very close to 27uf I will show some pictures of it sometime tomorrow

This is one of the shit est boards I seen in a very long time and it was the daughter board the traces just lifting off the board I had to use the capacitor leads to repair the the traces and the main board is not any better because I had to repair several traces for the daughter board to the main board

    After all of...
