sorry man yours misunderstanding from your first post before you edit it and after edit it , eMMC / NAND to program them before install them on boards need dumps... it both blank and after installing them on boards need the SoC tool to write normal firmware to them,

Yea sorry, answered most of my questions with research.

Yes where are the dumps from? Is there a website or a place for these dumps

the dump actuality from the original parts if the programmer software can handle dump it in blocks,,, but the best way always to use SoC tools fpr blank chips

lotas could help with dumps ..... but keys need to write too in additional

Will the TV still work if the RPMB is left blank (as is the case of a freshly purchased EMMC)?

Is it known if the TV vendor uses the same contents inside the RPMB region regardless of the model number of the TV? Maybe with some compatibility luck, we can take the EMMC from other models of the TV -> reflash the EMMC to fix the target board. For example, Hisense (!!).

If the EMMC is corrupted, (I assume that means the dump is corrupted?) will the dump still be usable?

When I watch the Nick's TV video on a Hisense he says he has an original software version for the EMMC, and after installed all additional updates are applied. So he would of got this from a new emmc and just copied the dump file?

if the SoC in tact the Flash tools of SoC with low level adapters of the programmer can send row firmware in correct block while the TV MB under the programmer , not as TV turn on or not. this level mean MB out side the set.

the process at vendor Manufacture going too by this way, boards stensil with pasta.. raw eMMC/ NAND installed ... oven ..... cooling... then boards sitting on bed bath to program the SW with keys.

So in summary - the RPMB keys are secure and so far, cannot be extracted? Has anyone attempted to use the EMMC from say one model of Hisense -> erase the contents (not the RPMB region which is OTP) -> apply the firmware of a different Hisense model -> does this fix the dead board?

About to invest into some tools for the same R&D so your valuable feedback will save some time. Which is the best and affordable EMMC toolkit? UFI box? The Z3X Easy-Jtag Plus is the latest but $$$ ?

From a quick review, the lower cost tools are using 1 bit mode to access the EMMC so takes hours to R/W the contents. Is this correct? The faster units like Z3X Easy-Jtag Plus are operating in 4-bit mode? There is ~$100 USD in the hardware to R/W to the EMMC using a zero force socket but the real work is in the s/w to control this hardware. There are FPGA IPs to operate with EMMC and also STM32 code.

If appreciate it if you started your own thread. This has nothing to do with my questions
