Take the back cover off the TV and post a clear photo. Likely just a loose cable. If not, could be a bad C board. Should be fixable. I've heard this is a fairly common issue with these panels.

C board can be found on eBay, FlatTVParts, parts4u.me.uk, Emos' used TV spares, etc. Just match up TNPA or TNPH number including suffix code, e.g. "AG", "AH", if one is present.

Re: Panasonic Plasma TX-P42G20B vertical bar

You won't find a new one. They are all used from scrapped TVs. Panasonic new one would be 3 digits+, if they even sell it any more.

Re: Panasonic Plasma TX-P42G20B vertical bar

I noticed something, when disconnecting flex and connecting again there is no line on tv
but appear again after 30 minuts. The metal frame on flex starts heats up, I'v checked others one and is no heating like that.
Tom66 are you sure that c-board is a defective ? not flex ?

Re: Panasonic Plasma TX-P42G20B vertical bar

It can possibly be that ribbon. There is unfortunately no way of replacing it.

NOTE: You MUST have the screws in place when powering it up or further damage could occur.

C board looks cheap, I'd take a chance on that. If not, it is the panel, sadly...

after one hour line disappeared and appeared again after 20 minutes

Prob the COF chip on that flex connector. Part of panel, sadly unreplaceable as its part of the panel assay.

Apart from what you have already done--ie, replace everything else, no--I don't think so....

I scrapped a Pan a few weeks ago with the same fault, although with mine--it was permanent.
