Panasonic 55VT30 plasma horizontal line problem

Looking for advice with the new problem. Yesterday, my tv developed these lines across the top of the tv. They are there when the TV is "cold" -- after 5 min they are gone. Turn tv off and back on -- not there. Let "cool" down for 20 min -- they are back.

See pics. You can see the color of the pixels making up the lines and how they fade on the additional pictures over time.

Also, sometimes get a ghost when screen is really white -- this is new as well.

Any ideas? Bad panel?

No its not a bad panel. Possibly one of the scan ic's on the SU board is giving up. Also could be a capacitor issue driving that Ic or the top buffer board.
