This is a TV I picked up a while ago that had a back lighting problem. turned out to be the LED backlight driver board well I replaced that no problems. but I'm having an issue trying to pin out the RU board. this is a small board that connects to the back of the TVon the mainboard. I don't know what its function is but I believe it has something to do with the bluetooth function for the 3d glasses on the black plastic cover it is labeled remote. It has a db9 connector along with a headphone jack that's black.
this board was all mangled up and the wire harness was cut its a 6-pin harness. I had to order another board and it's hard to find. Upon getting the board I had mocked up a new harness harvested from a nother sony tv. Upon connecting the board back to the main board it causes the remote function not to work. So basically the remote control will not operate the TV. The TV still works with the buttons on the side no problems but it physically locks up the remote control function. So I thought it was an issue with the board so I ordered another RU board. I get the same effect. Does anybody have this style TV or similar that uses this bored could possibly give me the pinout configuration of the 6 Pin harness. or if somebody has the wiring schematic could tell me if I have the pinouts proper. I just ran hpen in the Loom the same way as a direct connection but maybe there is a cross wire somewhere in the Loom that I'm not familiar with. Thanks
