    Panasonic TH50PX60U Line Question

I'm troubleshooting this set as it has made my 3rd set I've bought. My 1st was a Samsung 46" LCD got it fixed so fast I thought I would try my luck again. My 2nd 50" Dell (Samsung) Plasma with bad caps, waiting on mail man.

The set has vertical lines on half, I have checked the ribbon cables. The set powers up fine, there are green LEDs on SC & SS board, I believe it's the DT board the one inside the cage has a red LED. The Power LED does not blink. At one point after checking the ribbons and then powering it up half the lines disappeared.

Should I part, scrap it and move on or is there any hope?

Sorry last question, What does the PX60U mean? Cause I have a Panasonic TCP50C2 that I bought new maybe the parts interchange?

Lenovo P14s Gen 5 SVP unlock
    by Syseng
This sums up discussion related to Lenovo P14s Gen5 in this thread. Credits go to Sbaro and especially Maxpower3. The locked dump is attached.

The device is based on NM-F871 motherboard with Nuvoton NPCK397 series controller. The motherboard also contains three BIOS chips: two different Winbond chips for main BIOS and external EC flash, and also a Gigadevice chip which purpose I do not know. The password information is contained directly in controller and thus can be manipulated by reprogramming it, so reprogramming BIOS chips is technically not required, however you may wish to make...

PROBLEM 1:. Red spots / area in the screen

    by Ihandyrepair
    Hi guys

I just started fixing 4k TV few months ago. so I am still learning a lot
I got this tv from friend complaint is ghosting or horizontal lines on image.

never saw the original symptom but I took the tv back home. the funny part is that after bringing to home, the tv worked fine no issue for 3 weeks.
then it started to show the ghosting white image.
I started using the tape method, but this tv does not have a T con board and it has only 1 ribbon cable from main board to the tv panel.
it has 3 thin small boards at the bottom of the...

Vertical Lines on Half of LCD Display
    by rfxcasey
I have an Siemens HMI with vertical lines on half of the screen. These lines aren't scrambled garbage but rather very regular in pattern and color. I have replaced the LCD with a new one and still the problem persists. I'm wondering if this isn't indicative of a bad video process chip or video memory? Any help would be appreciated. The cable appears to be OK but one pin on the header is unpopulated, though there isn't any loose wire to suggest one broke off or popped out of the connector. In the picture below where the connector is busted out of the side, I did that with my small screw driver...
