I have a TV it's kind of old it was made in 2015. It's been working fine but all of a sudden when I go to turn it on it pops up the logo and turns the screen on then turns immediately off. I pull the motherboard out I don't see any blowing caps or anything like that but the board is a little dark like it got too hot could that have been the problem? should I just replace the motherboard or is there any way to repair it easily?

I've had this laptop for 8-9 years, and about a week back, it started malfunctioning. When I press the power button, the power LED comes on for about 5secs and turns off. The fan also doesn't spin at all during this time. But, if I press the power button, and then manually spin the fan, the laptop boots up and the fan starts spinning on its own. I have a Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 (G533QM) that had a dead motherboard (Graphics card dead) and after trying to fix the motherboard with no success, I bit the bullet on a sale for a new motherboard.
