Panasonic TH-50PX80U Plasma - Powers on, no picture (Lightning?)

Just picked up this Panasonic TH-50PX80U from a friend. She says a lightning storm took out her TV, her laptop, and her Comcast STB.

Unit powers on, and the panel lights, but no video output. No buttons are responsive, even Power. After 5-10 minutes, the TV restarts. While the TV is on, I'm provided a steady red LED on the front of the TV, and a steady green LED on the "Scan Drive" and "Sustain Drive" boards.

I've pulled both the PSU board and the main logic boards - no signs of any physical damage and no odd smells.

Only two voltages are identified on the panel sticker, Ve (130V), and Vsus (185V)
I've tested these voltages - test points were all on the SCAN and SUSTAIN boards:
    Ve: 129.0V
    Vsus: 184.1V
    VSET: 319V
    VAD: 147.8V

Without anything else to go on, I'm thinking the logic board is toast - My next test is plugging in sources and see if I get audio.

    **EDIT**
This flowchart in the service manual pretty much says the "A Board" (Which is the logic board) is suspect. Now to diagnose!

If you are getting a screen lit but no video and buttons unresponsive I would be more inclined to say mainboard issue..
Did I leave the soldering iron on?

@freakaftr8: The "A" Board is the one I suspect - with the HDMI and component connections. Did i use the wrong terminology?

@erskine: No error codes from LED. Solid red light - which I interpret as normal.

Yes mainboard. Logic board is the one that has ribbons going to the panel. That board should be ok

The mainboard is the one I was referring to, I apologize!

it seems that all the sources for this board (TNPH0716 "AH" suffix) are out of stock..

Is there some sort of repair process for these boards? I don't see any physical damage.

On a whim, I disabled the "Audio/Video SW" (IC3001) by removing the inductors connecting VCC+9V and VCC+5V to their respective power sources. No change.

I realized I never checked to make sure all voltages were present on main board before I started disabling things. Test points are mostly on solder side.
However, upon removing the board from the chassis (and still plugged in) I get a 6 blink error. I wonder if ground is not supplied elsewhere? An error code means SOMETHING is working on the mainboard, correct?
I was thinking the boot ROM was corrupted.

                  Panasonic plasma TX-P42ST50 - 6 blinks
                  by jm1234
                  Hi,
anyone able to provide the service manual for old plasma Panasonic TX-P42ST50E?
It turns off almost immediately (0~5 seconds after pressing the on/off button) and starts flashing the red diode 6 times.
I disconnected the left-hand side board (SC?, both the ribbon cable and the power cable to it) and also another ribbon going to bottom left board. Then the led signal is 8 flashes. According to service guide to another Panasonic plasma it would mean the left-hand side board is faulty. But I'm not sure it 100% applies to my model.
I checked that board for any obvious faults...

Panasonic ZT60 plasma tv with strange behavior and 8 blink code
                  by cloo
I recently got my hands on a 60" Panasonic P60ZT60 plasma tv (european model) that has some strange issues along with an 8 blink code.
It know this tv is getting old but it was once considered one of the best plasmas ever made, and i think it is still holds on to that even by todays standards.

So, long story short. When i first got the tv it had a very bright washed out picture with very raised blacks in all picture modes and i couldn't find the cause in the picture setting menus.
After doing a factory reset this problem was gone and the picture was back to...

Panasonic Plasma TH-50PZ85U No screen No blinks on red power light
                  by Alicat
                  Hello,

Stopped by this site trying to fix my parents Panasonic Plasma TV.

                  Model number is TH-50PZ85U

Power comes on and the red power light stays on solid.

Did a few checks like hold the power button on for 60 seconds, hold the - Volume while holding the menu button, no luck, still@ blank grey screen as the screen lights up very vague.

I also hear a few clicks.

I also think my parents said there was a thunderstorm and the TV failed after that.

Section 6 in the service manual talks about power and no screen,...

                  by KYBOSH
Saved this beast from the landfill this weekend.
                  Manfactured July 2013 in Mexico.

I love working on plasma TVs.
Its been a while but I was lucky enough to find 2 this week.

The TV powers on and stays on but no picture. Havent checked for sound yet.
No bulging caps although the insides are pretty dusty and the boards are discolored from many years of high heat.
                  Will start troubleshooting tonight.
