    UN75RU800DFXZA FA01 CA02 Compatibility

    Got a CA02 version without all the boards. LCD panel not cracked but unknown condition. Backlight seems to work with LED tester.

    Board sets cost 2/3 price of the TV. Found a FA01 version board set for good price. ShopJimmy doesn't show FA01 CA02 as interchangeable. main board numbers between 2 versions are different but t-con to panel connection appears identical. LCD panel PN is 1 letter different.

    Version CA02

    LCD = CY-NR075FGHV1H (letter H)
    main = BN94-14163F (shopjimmy link)

    Version FA01

    LCD = CY-NR075FGLV1H (letter L)
    main = BN94-14004D (shopjimmy link)

    Anyone know if FA01 main board can be used with CA02 panel?

        Unknown. Got TV with all the boards removed by prior owner. Need to decide to purchase board sets (expensive) to attempt repair. Samsung TVs with same PN often have different version #. Found a FA01 version board set much cheaper than CA02 version (the TV I have is CA02) which is why I asked if anyone nows FA01 main board (t-con on board) is compatible with CA02 version panel. Panel #s are 1 letter different. Info all on original post.

          Thanks. Just to confirm, you have 2 different model TV (GU-75TU6979 and GU-75TU7979) with identical LCD panel and different boards?

          In my case, panel between CA02 and FA01 differ by 1 letter. Main t-con output connector circuit looks identical. Maybe likely interchangeable but thought I confirm before gambling on the replacement board purchase.

              Owner said LCD is good but why they take all the boards? I have same guess as you LCD is probably rubbish so don't want to pay high $ for board set. Thanks again for confirmation it will work and I'll decide if want to gamble haha.

                I'd trash that also. Unless you have space you can hold until you get a broken one but that doesn't make sense. Says LCD is good no boards. Shouldn't have picked up in first place
