Re: Panasonic 50" tc-p50g20
Must be the week of 50" G20/25 issues, I think your the third one. SC boards fail in these, can cause SOS10 & SOS4.
Could try disconnecting SC2 at SC and see if it changes, there's a guide in a recent post 2010 G20/25 FHD Plasmas with plenty of steps to try. I'll check which one, just uploaded it again today. -

GT25 4 & 10 Blink
VT25 3D 10blink
S2 10 blink, uses same SC board
5081 fault finding and repair I had fun doing this but the last board tested my patience.
G20 10 blink
There's more, just try a search, these came up on TNPA5081,Comment

Re: Panasonic 50" tc-p50g20
No, SC board, LHS viewed from rear.
let the power bleed off before reconnecting or measure it at the Vsus connectors otherwise the 200v that's sitting there may spike something.Comment

Re: Panasonic 50" tc-p50g20
yep, it's a 2.06Mb PDF download. If you don't have the internet then how do you access this website? I guess you're saying you have no PC or laptop to access it and open it?
anyway, hopefully you can get the idea of what to check from all the other posts. i guess this also means you have no copy of the service manual either.
Just disconnect SC2 on the Sc board and power it up and see what happens or grab a meter and check the resistance or a short across the 2 pins.Comment

Re: Panasonic 50" tc-p50g20
If you disconnected the Sc board, was it the 2 wire power cable from the PSU to the SC that was disconnected? That connector is SC2. There's only 2 connection going in, the white ribbon (SC20) P5V,P15v, data, SOS6,7 etc goes on that, Vsus (200v approx) goes in on SC2, it's the pins on the SC at SC2, cable removed, check that's there's no residual voltage at the pins, the caps on the Sc board may still be charged.Comment

by RensieeHello,
I have been reading a few threads on here regarding Panasonic plasma tv's. I've found one thread which explains the same problem as mine, unfortunately the thread has not been completed.
I got a free tv (TH-50PX8EA) from a friend which shows no screen. When plugged in only one red light shows up and when pushing the ON button, the red LED turns of and will only turn on again when pressing the ON button again.
When plugging in the TV i hear two relays click fast and after a few seconds the third relay clicks.
I have measured the voltage in the VSUS line, which...06-18-2024, 12:58 PM -
by BigPeteI picked up a Panasonic NH-P70G2, though it would apply to the NH-P80G2, NH-P70G1 and NH-P80G1 models as well, as maybe some other models. This one was coming up with a H86 error. After lots of testing and googling it was an error with one of the thermistors in the condenser area.
The attached French service manuals is incorrect, TH11 is gray and is a 95k thermistor and TH12 is black and is a 35k thermistor.
In my case TH12 was bad. I was able to get a 35k thermistor on AliExpress. It's 6mm in diameter.
Unfortunately the whole machine has to come apart to fix it.

by mostachioHi Badcaps,
I've had a friend discard a TH-65DX700Z Pansonic Viera Television and I've decided to have a go at repairing it. If possible could I please get some advice in terms of diagnosing the problem so I can purchase the appropriate parts for repair whether it be components, a repair kit or a replacement board. I am happy to post pictures if required.
TV Details:
Model # - TH-65DX700Z
Symptoms:
The television turns on and displays a picture then makes a clicking sound and turns off.
I haven't opened it up yet but... -
Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing here🤔?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting 😂.

by AquaMan UaHello. I am asking you for a hint on how to solve the problem with my touchbook Panasonic CF53-2 standart model. After setting up the BIOS, the laptop displays the wrong image until Windows loads. (More precisely, it displays, but distorted, instead of the Panasonic image immediately after turning it on, it displays what is in photo #1 in the attached file) Then the image appears when Windows starts loading and then there are no problems with the screen until the reboot. If you enter the BIOS, just a black screen. If you connect an external screen, the image on it is the same as on the built-in...2 Photos
