    Panasonic th-42pz80b

    Ok i bought this tv of a friend claimed it would not come out of standby and after cleaning out about a tonne of dust !
    the next day i tried to turn it on and it worked all day until i unplugged it to go out,again it worked once i left it off for a while but i keep getting 10 red blinks

    any ideas ?

    You do not need to replace TEA-chip.

    These are fantastic sets. If you are looking for a new TV, I -highly- advise keeping one of these. The picture will blow you away. Though they do eat a lot of power -- around 350W average!

              so do i just replace the 1uF 50V ceramic cap?

                Replace both capacitors on both MC201 and MC301 boards with 1uF 50V electrolytic capacitors. Use glue to secure capacitors to an anchor point, such as the chips. Don't attempt to do work with the board still soldered in, remove it from the board first.

                    oh man thats to hard to solder after trying for a few hours so looks like ill order a new power unit
